It provides the data basis for the government and economic scholars to analyze the economic situation in real time. With the developed countries entering the era of service economy, the government and the economists generally realize that the simple reliance on industrial statistics is difficult to reflect the overall operation of the economy. The demand for short-term statistical indicators of the service industry is also increasingly strong. The service industry production index is a statistical indicator that can reflect the short-term changes in the service industry. However, the heterogeneity of the service industry is fast changing.
