城镇化对城乡收入差距的门槛效应分析

【摘要】：文章基于目前中国省级面板数据,运用门槛模型就我国城镇化对城乡收入差距的影响进行了研究,结果发现:(1)城镇化对城乡收入差距存在非线性特征,两个门槛值分别为0.312和0.471。(2)库兹涅茨"倒U型假说"在中国并不成立,只对处于特定城镇化水平的省份才成立。(3)随着城镇化水平的提高,政府通过干预经济和扶持农村来缩小城镇收入差距的作用不显著,且对处于较高城镇化水平的省份还起到了扩大收入差距的作用。
[Abstract]:Based on the current provincial panel data in China, this paper studies the impact of urbanization on urban-rural income gap by using threshold model. The results show that: (1) urbanization has nonlinear characteristics on urban-rural income gap. The two thresholds are 0.312 and 0.471 respectively. (2) Kuznets' inverted U hypothesis does not hold in China, but only for provinces with a specific urbanization level. (3) with the increase of urbanization level, The government does not play a significant role in narrowing the income gap in cities and towns by intervening in the economy and supporting the rural areas, and it also plays a role in widening the income gap in provinces with a higher level of urbanization.
