【摘要】：本文研究的主体是城市中大量废弃的建筑空间,研究目的是试图找出适合中国情况须进行废旧建筑空间改造,可持续发展和循环的方法。在此不是简单的回答或补充原有建筑的历史,而是用公共艺术的理论和观念来研究和实践,这个概念是由一个新的区域环境的驱动,这将是当代艺术、建筑空间、文化产业、历史文脉和城市生活环境的有机结合,探讨中国当代城市文化生活空间在一定场域内产生和发展,这正是本论文研究的出发点。论文先从废旧建筑空间出现的成因和状况做出分析,时代和历史催生了这一废旧建筑空间的出现,其遗存的现状、旧工业建筑的特点也是我们分析的要点;接着论文对废旧建筑空间的公共艺术改造的出现和发展做出了阐述,并指出我们理论和发展实践的差距;而后对国内外的成功案例从公共艺术的角度做出分析;最后着重对公共艺术究竟如何介入废弃建筑空间展开研究,特别强调:(1)用公共艺术理念进行废弃建筑空间改造的原则;(2)公共艺术理论进行废弃建筑空间改造的意识方式;(3)公共艺术进行建筑空间改造的具体体现;(4)具体的公共艺术理念在废弃建筑空间改造中运用。本论文在研究范畴框架内,针对所提问题进行方法论研究在艺术观念不断发展的大背景下,从公共艺术的理念角度对废弃建筑空间的改造进行研究,力求使之在改造中符合时代的、社会的、艺术的发展。后工业时代对工业文明的废弃建筑如何处理和审视,与艺术的发展是密切相关的,艺术的发展通常与科技和工业的发展是同步,甚至是超前的,在后现代主义的艺术背景下,我们如何用当代艺术下公共艺术的视角去介入废弃建筑空间,是本论文的创新点,也区别于以往简单的从建筑、景观或是生态的艺术形式下展开研究。
