【摘要】：这篇文章处理了递归的模式在印度艺术(印度寺庙建筑与梵文诗律)与印度数学中的重要作用。同时对于莱布尼兹序列(Leibniz series)的玛达瓦(Mādhava)推导做一个具体的形式化的重构,并为大卫·芒福德(David Mumford)的发现提供了证据,即在印度数学中递归是一个重要的证明方法。
