特朗普上台是否意味美国民主的衰落——兼与吴冠军教授商榷

【摘要】：特朗普上台确实意味着美国选举民主有所变化,但是不能忽视这些变化背后的不变内容。这些内容主要包括美国两党政治结构、三权分立的民主体制,以及美国人追求伟大总统的梦想。由此,也就无法断言,特朗普上台意味着以美国为代表的西方民主出现了严重危机,甚至西方民主已经走向衰落。恰恰相反,西方民主的根基依然深厚。不论是从西方民主的政治根基及其自我创新、自我修复能力,还是从西方民主的被广泛学习、吸收、借鉴来看,西方民主的生命力依然旺盛。
[Abstract]:Trump's coming to power does mean a change in American electoral democracy, but the immutable elements behind those changes cannot be ignored. These include a bipartisan political structure, a divided democracy, and the American dream of a great president. Thus, it is impossible to say that Trump's coming to power means a serious crisis in Western democracy, as represented by the United States, and even the decline of Western democracy. On the contrary, the foundations of Western democracy remain strong. Whether from the political foundation of western democracy and its self-innovation, self-repair ability, or from the extensive learning and absorption of western democracy, the vitality of western democracy is still exuberant.
