性别的藩篱:男做女职者职业处境、性别气质建构分析

【摘要】:本研究通过对20位从事传统女性工作类别的男性工作者的访谈,探讨他们在跨越传统性别工作概念之后所产生的自我认同、个体适应与应对策略。研究发现,在传统文化的社会化影响下,当今中国社会的劳动力市场依旧存在着较强的性别认同与性别期待。西方学者所言的"玻璃手扶梯"现象并未明显出现在受访的男做女职者身上;系统化的性别概念对初入传统女性劳动职场的男做女职者具有一定的影响作用,且对部分劳动者的升迁具有抑制作用。不同职业的劳动者往往采取不同的应对策略和反应方式来转换个人在职场中的压力,并借以重构其在职场中的社会关系。
[Abstract]:In this study, 20 male workers engaged in traditional female work categories were interviewed to explore their self-identity, individual adaptation and coping strategies after crossing the traditional concept of gender work. Under the influence of the socialization of traditional culture, the labor market in China still has strong gender identity and expectation. The phenomenon of "glass escalator" mentioned by western scholars did not appear obviously in the men and women who were interviewed, and the systematic concept of gender had a certain influence on the male and female workers who first entered the traditional female labor force. And part of the workers of the promotion has inhibitory effect. Workers in different occupations often adopt different coping strategies and responses to change individual pressure in the workplace and to reconstruct their social relations in the workplace.
