自恋与情绪调节困难:迷走神经活动的调节作用

【摘要】:近年来,心理学界对自恋展开了丰富的研究,研究方向各异,自恋越来越多地被研究者看作一个重要的复杂的人格特质,它体现了对自我和权利的夸大和脆弱感,对成功的沉迷和对羡慕的过分需求。不同自恋类型与心理健康和社会适应的关系差异研究让笔者不禁思考其与情绪调节困难是否也存在相似的差异;另外,自恋个体对社会评价的敏感性将会增加其对评价性压力源的生理反应性。但据我们所知,考察自恋者与相关生理指标间的意义的实证研究却相当缺乏。近年来,副交感神经的迷走神经活动与情绪及社会行为的关系,也开始受到研究者的关注。而呼吸性窦性心律不齐(Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia,RSA)是心脏迷走神经张力的一个重要测量指标,研究发现,较高的基线RSA,较显著的RSA反应性和RSA恢复性预示着个体动态灵活的迷走神经调节以及适应性的情绪反应和情绪调节,也就是说迷走神经张力对个体具有保护作用,这让笔者对迷走神经活动是否能成为自恋与情绪调节困难间关系的调节变量尤为感兴趣。 因此,本研究在前人研究的基础上,从以往研究的局限出发,用《自恋人格问卷(NPI-16)》,《过度敏感性量表(HSNS)》,《情绪调节困难问卷(DERS)》,《自尊量表(SES)》对253名被试分别进行施测,采用TSST任务,分别记录被试在基线期、应激期、恢复期的心率、呼吸性窦性心率不齐和皮电值。重点考察和验证了基线迷走神经张力和迷走神经抑制对自恋与情绪调节困难间关系的调节效应,得出以下结论: 1.大学生自恋人格与情绪调节困难存在不同程度的相关,显性自恋能够负向预测个体的情绪意识困难和情绪理解困难,隐性自恋能够正向预测个体的情绪调节困难及情绪接受困难、冲动控制困难,策略的有效使用困难和情绪理解困难。 2.实验室应激条件下,大学生显性自恋能够正向预测个体在面试任务前和面试任务期间的皮电变化增量以及面试任务期间和面试任务结束间的皮电差值。隐性自恋能够正向预测个体面试任务前和面试任务期间的心率的增量,负向预测应激期皮电值的变化。显性自恋和隐性自恋表现出了不同的自主神经应激反应模式。 3.迷走神经抑制调节了自恋与情绪调节困难间的关系。迷走神经抑制边缘显著地调节了显性自恋与情绪理解间的关系;同时,迷走神经抑制还显著地缓解了隐性自恋对情绪调节困难带来的影响。在隐性自恋水平较高的条件下,高迷走神经抑制能够降低个体的情绪调节困难、情绪接受困难、冲动控制困难、策略的有效使用困难和情绪理解困难,表现出了补偿效应。
[Abstract]:In recent years, psychology has carried out a wealth of research on narcissism, the research direction is different, narcissism is more and more regarded by researchers as an important and complex personality trait. It embodies a sense of exaggeration and vulnerability to self and power. The study on the relationship between different narcissism types and mental health and social adaptation makes the author wonder whether there are similar differences between them and emotional adjustment difficulties. In addition, the sensitivity of narcissistic individuals to social evaluation increases their physiological responsiveness to evaluative stressors, but as far as we know. In recent years, the relationship between parasympathetic vagal activity and emotional and social behavior is rather scarce. Researchers are also beginning to pay attention to respiratory sinus arrhythmia, Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia. Rsa is an important measure of cardiac vagal tension, and the study found a higher baseline RSA. The significant RSA reactivity and RSA recovery indicate that the vagus nerve regulation and the adaptive emotional response and emotion regulation can be predicted. That is to say the vagus nerve tension has protective effect on the individual. This makes the author especially interested in whether vagal nerve activity can become the regulatory variable of the relationship between narcissism and emotional regulation difficulties. Therefore, on the basis of previous studies and from the limitations of previous studies, this study uses the narcissistic personality questionnaire NPI-16 > and the hypersensitivity scale HSNS>. Two hundred and three subjects were tested with TSST task. The subjects were recorded in baseline and stress periods. The effects of baseline vagal tension and vagal nerve inhibition on the relationship between narcissism and mood regulation difficulties were investigated and verified. Draw the following conclusions: 1. The narcissistic personality of college students is related to emotional adjustment difficulties to varying degrees, and explicit narcissism can negatively predict the emotional awareness difficulties and emotional comprehension difficulties of individuals. Recessive narcissism can positively predict individual emotional adjustment difficulties, emotional acceptance difficulties, impulse control difficulties, effective use of strategies and emotional understanding difficulties. 2. Laboratory stress. Overt narcissism can positively predict the increment of the individual's electric changes before and during the interview and the difference between the interview task and the end of the interview task. Recessive narcissism can positively predict a decent person. The increase in heart rate before and during the interview. There were different autonomic nervous stress response patterns between dominant narcissism and recessive narcissism. 3. Vagus nerve inhibition regulates the relationship between narcissism and emotional regulation difficulties. Vagus nerve suppression significantly regulates the relationship between dominant narcissism and emotional understanding. At the same time, vagus nerve inhibition also significantly alleviates the influence of recessive narcissism on emotional regulation difficulties. Under the condition of high level of recessive narcissism, high vagal inhibition can reduce individual emotional regulation difficulties. Emotional acceptance difficulties, impulsive control difficulties, effective use of strategies and emotional understanding difficulties, showing compensatory effect.
