基于认知心理学的儿童电子地图设计研究

【摘要】：电子地图是数字地图在屏幕上可视化表达。近年来,国内外出现了众多的新型电子地图,随着电子信息技术的不断发展,作为教育工具之一的电子地图越来越受到人们的重视。儿童电子地图就是科学技术进步和现代地图学发展的产物,是儿童获取地理空间知识的主要媒介和源泉,也是培养儿童想象力、抽象能力、逻辑思维能力和认知能力的有效工具,需集趣味性与知识性为一体。顾名思义,儿童电子地图的用户是广大儿童,因而这类地图既不是单纯的电子地图形式,也不是完全的数字图画或娱乐动画形式,而是将抽象的思维变成一种具体的形象。由于儿童的认知能力有限,将传统的划线、色彩、单调抽象的地图符号直接用于电子地图制作,会给儿童读者带来认知上的困难。因此,本文针对此问题进行了研究,具体工作包括以下几个方面:(1)本论文在总结现有儿童地图研究成果的基础上,以5-6岁儿童为研究对象,结合儿童心理学方面的相关理论,首先分析了儿童在认知特点影响下的认知心理和反应出来的认知行为;(2)将研究成果引入到地图设计中,以儿童认知为前提,从地图的内容设置、符号设计、功能和设计原则几方面展开分析,提出了适合该年龄段儿童认知特点的电子地图设计理论及方法;(3)以上海迪士尼乐园为例,制作了一套面向5-6岁儿童阅读的电子地图;(4)最后,从儿童对地图符号的判别正确率和满意度两个方面,对设计的作品进行了认知实验测试与评价。实验结果表明,本文所设计的儿童电子地图基本符合儿童的心理认知发展规律及欣赏水平,具有较高的满意度。
[Abstract]:An electronic map is a visual representation of a digital map on a screen. In recent years, there are many new types of electronic maps at home and abroad. With the development of electronic information technology, electronic maps, as one of the educational tools, have been paid more and more attention. The children's electronic map is the product of the progress of science and technology and the development of modern cartography. It is the main medium and source for children to acquire geospatial knowledge, and it is also the training of children's imagination and abstract ability. The effective tools of logical thinking ability and cognitive ability need to integrate interest and knowledge. As the name implies, the users of the children's electronic map are the vast number of children, so this kind of map is neither a simple electronic map form, nor a complete digital picture or entertainment animation form, but it turns abstract thinking into a concrete image. Due to the limited cognitive ability of children, it is difficult for children to use traditional map symbols such as underline, color and monotonous abstract map symbols to make electronic map. Therefore, this article has carried on the research to this question, the concrete work includes the following several aspects: 1) this paper, on the basis of summarizing the existing children map research results, takes 5-6 years old children as the research object, unifies the child psychology correlation theory, Firstly, this paper analyzes children's cognitive psychology and cognitive behavior under the influence of cognitive characteristics. (2) the research results are introduced into the map design. Based on the premise of children's cognition, the content setting and symbol design of the map are analyzed. The function and design principle are analyzed, and the theory and method of electronic map design suitable for children's cognitive characteristics are put forward. Taking Shanghai Disneyland as an example, a set of electronic map for children aged 5 to 6 is made. The cognitive test and evaluation of the designed works were carried out from two aspects: the accuracy and satisfaction of children's discrimination of map symbols. The experimental results show that the children's electronic map designed in this paper basically accords with the development of children's psychological cognition and appreciation level, and has a high degree of satisfaction.
