中国人不择偶复制吗?一择偶策略、即时情绪对择偶复制的影响研究

【摘要】:西方大量研究表明,人类择偶时受社会信息的影响,存在择偶复制现象,即个体倾向于选择其他个体之所爱作为自己的伴侣。本研究以中国在校大学生为被试,通过两个实验逐次探讨择偶策略、即时情绪对择偶复制的影响。然而并未在中国被试身上发现择偶复制现象,又通过实验三回归到最本质的问题,到底中国人身上存不存在择偶复制现象?实验三通过一个单因素实验探讨靶目标状态对自身吸引力水平的影响。实验一采用2(择偶策略:长期策略;短期策略)×2(靶目标人物身份状态:单身;恋爱中)×2(性别:女;男)的混合实验设计。实验结果显示,男性在寻找长期伴侣时,不容易发生择偶复制。男女两性寻找短期伴侣时,都不会受其他个体的选择所影响。研究未证实女性在寻找长期伴侣时择偶复制,反而女性对单身男性吸引力评价更高。也就是说,中国人并不容易择偶复制。实验二采用2(即时情绪:快乐;悲伤)×2(靶目标人物状态:单身;恋爱中)的被试间设计,以女大学生为研究对象。实验结果显示,情绪的主效应并不显著,女生对单身的靶目标吸引力评价分数更高。实验三为单因素两水平实验,控制变量为靶目标状态(单身;恋爱中),被试为女生,因变量为对靶目标的吸引力评分以及被试在多大程度上想要和靶目标成为伴侣。实验结果显示,女生并未表现出对有女朋友的异性特别的兴趣,反倒对单身男性的吸引力评分更高。本研究通过上述三个实验,并未在中国被试身上发现择偶复制现象,中国女性似乎对单身男性更感兴趣,我们猜测这或许和集体主义文化下推崇和谐的人际关系有关系。
[Abstract]:A large number of studies in the West have shown that due to the influence of social information, the phenomenon of mate selection duplication exists, that is, individuals tend to choose the loved ones of other individuals as their partners. In this study, Chinese college students were selected to explore the influence of instant emotion on mate selection through two experiments. However, the phenomenon of mate selection replication has not been found in Chinese subjects, and then returned to the most essential problem through experiment 3. Is there a phenomenon of mate selection replication in Chinese? In experiment 3, a single factor experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of target state on the level of self-attractiveness. In experiment 1, a mixed experiment was designed by using 2 (mate selection strategy: long term strategy; short term strategy) 脳 2 (target character status: single; in love) 脳 2 (sex: female; male). The results showed that men are not prone to mate selection when looking for a long-term partner. When men and women look for short-term partners, they are not affected by the choices of other individuals. The study did not confirm that women were more likely to rate the attractiveness of single men as they looked for long-term partners. In other words, it is not easy for Chinese to copy their mate. Experiment 2 was designed by using 2 (instant emotion: happiness; sadness) 脳 2 (target character state: single; in love). Female college students were selected as the research objects. The results showed that the main effect of emotion was not significant, and girls had higher scores of target attractiveness to single targets. Experiment 3 was a single-factor two-level experiment with the control variable as the target state (single; in love, the subjects were female; dependent variables were the attractiveness of the target and the extent to which the subjects wanted to be partners with the target. The results showed that women did not show a particular interest in the opposite sex who had girlfriends, but had a higher attractiveness rating for single men. Based on the above three experiments, this study has not found the phenomenon of mate selection replication in Chinese subjects. Chinese women seem to be more interested in single men. We suspect that this may be related to the harmonious interpersonal relationship advocated in collectivist culture.
