情绪唤醒对不同语义、空间关系的项目—背景联结记忆影响:行为与眼动研究

【摘要】:情绪唤醒对联结记忆影响的研究一直存在争议,Mather(2007)认为争议的原因是人们研究的联结记忆类型不同,他认为情绪唤醒会增强项目内联结记忆而削弱项目间联结记忆,情绪唤醒之所以会削弱项目间联结记忆,是因为对项目投入太多的注意就不容易将项目与背景进行捆绑。注意是否是解释情绪唤醒影响项目间联结记忆的唯一原因,至今还无定论。一体化假说认为,若能在编码时对两个或多个分离的项目进行一体化加工,整合成一个整体,情绪唤醒也会对“一体化”了的项目间联结记忆起到促进作用。人们会对语义上与情绪唤醒主题事件有直接联系(语义上的“中心”)的信息记忆更好,会对在空间上与情绪唤醒主题事件接近(空间上的“中心”)的信息记忆更好,语义关系和空间关系哪个对项目间联结记忆影响更大,至今还无定论。本研究试图通过三个实验来研究语义关系和空间关系对情绪唤醒影响项目间联结记忆的制约作用,并探究注意是否能用来解释情绪唤醒对项目间联结记忆的影响。实验1采用2(项目情绪唤醒:消极、中性)×2(语义关系:相关、不相关)×2(项目与背景间空间距离:远、近)的三因素被试内设计。实验2采用2(项目情绪唤醒:消极、中性)×2(语义关系:相关、不相关)×2(项目处于背景中的空间位置:中心、边缘)的三因素被试内设计。实验3采用2(项目情绪唤醒:消极、中性)×2(空间一致性:一致、不一致)的两因素被试内设计。因变量均为项目的再认成绩和项目与背景的联结再认成绩,眼动指标为兴趣区域的注视数量比率和对兴趣区的注意分配比率。本研究得出如下结论:(1)项目-背景间语义关系以及空间关系会制约情绪唤醒对项目-背景间联结记忆的影响,其中语义上的“中心”比空间上的“中心”对其制约作用更大。(2)项目-背景间的一体化有助于缓和情绪唤醒对联结记忆的削弱作用。(3)注意并不是解释情绪唤醒影响项目-背景间联结记忆的唯一因素。
[Abstract]:There has been controversy about the influence of emotional arousal on associative memory. Mather (2007) argues that the reason for the controversy is that the types of associative memory studied by people are different. He believes that emotional arousal can enhance the associative memory in the project and weaken the associative memory between items. Emotional arousal weakens project memory because too much attention to the project makes it difficult to bind the project to the background. Whether or not attention is the only reason why emotional arousal affects interitem memory is still unclear. The integration hypothesis holds that if two or more separate items can be integrated into a whole when coding, emotional arousal will also promote the "integrated" inter-project associative memory. People have a better memory of information that is directly related to the subject event of emotional arousal (the semantic "center"), and a better memory of information that is close to the subject event of emotional arousal in space (the "center" in space). There is still no conclusion as to which semantic relationship or spatial relationship has a greater influence on the memory of interproject connection. The present study attempts to study the influence of semantic and spatial relationships on emotional arousal and to explore whether attention can be used to explain the effects of emotional arousal on interitem associative memory. Experiment 1 was designed by using three factors (item emotional arousal: negative, neutral) 脳 2 (semantic relation: correlation, irrelevant) 脳 2 (spatial distance between project and background: far and near). Experiment 2 was designed by using three factors (item emotional arousal: negative, neutral) 脳 2 (semantic relation: correlation, irrelevant) 脳 2 (spatial position of project in the background: center, edge). Experiment 3 was designed by two factors (item emotional arousal: negative, neutral) 脳 2 (spatial consistency: consistency, inconsistency). The dependent variables are the recognition achievement of the item and the association recognition between the item and the background. The eye movement index is the ratio of the number of attention in the area of interest and the ratio of attention allocation to the area of interest. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) the semantic relationship between items and backgrounds and the spatial relationship will restrict the influence of emotional arousal on the connective memory between items and backgrounds. The semantic "center" is more restrictive than the spatial "center". (2) the integration of project-background helps to alleviate the weakening effect of emotional arousal on associative memory. (3) attention is not an explanation of emotional arousal shadow. Ring item-the only factor that connects memory between backgrounds.
