通道注意对视触觉整合与结合的影响

【摘要】:人类将多种感觉信息有效地合成为统一而稳定的知觉。有心理学家(Ernst和Bulthoff)将这种多种感觉信息合成的现象划为感觉整合与感觉结合。感觉整合指同维度冗余的感觉信号的合成,相关研究发现视触觉整合是线性加和的,通道的线索权重符合统计最优的方法。感觉结合指跨维度非冗余的感觉信号的合成。视触觉整合与结合中的注意机制也受到了研究者的重视。一些研究者发现视触觉整合需要消耗注意资源,即整合在注意之后;而另一些研究者发现,视触觉整合可以提高选择性注意,消耗注意资源不改变感觉通道权重,即整合在注意之前。本研究通过操纵被试在接受视触觉信息时投入于感觉通道的注意程度,探索注意在视触觉整合与结合中的作用。实验一使用视触觉冲突范式研究注意对视触觉整合的影响。被试分别在视觉注意、触觉注意与控制条件下,对一个视觉与触觉不一致的刺激进行视觉匹配与触觉匹配。实验发现,视觉注意条件下的匹配结果接近视觉刺激,控制条件与触觉注意条件下的匹配结果则更偏向触觉刺激。实验二与实验三使用弹性判别任务研究注意对视触觉结合的影响。实验二确定虚拟弹簧的效度,为实验三提供适合的比较刺激范围。在实验三中,以虚拟弹簧为标准刺激,以真实弹簧为比较刺激,用恒定刺激法测量真实弹簧与虚拟弹簧的主观相等点与最小可觉差。实验发现,触觉注意条件下被试的主观相等点与标准刺激没有显著差异,视觉注意条件下被试则低估了真实弹簧的弹性。上述研究结果表明:注意可以参与到视触觉整合(同维度)与结合(跨维度)的过程中,对通道的注意可以调节视觉通道与触觉通道线索的权重(视触觉整合)和利用效率(视触觉结合),从而改变视触觉合成后的知觉结果。
[Abstract]:Human beings effectively synthesize a variety of sensory information into a unified and stable perception. Psychologists (Ernst and Bulthoff) have classified this phenomenon of multiple sensory information synthesis as sensory integration and sensory integration. Sensory integration refers to the synthesis of redundant sensory signals in the same dimension. Related studies have found that visual tactile integration is linearly additive and the clue weight of the channel accords with the statistical optimal method. Sensory association refers to the synthesis of cross-dimensional non-redundant sensory signals. The attention mechanism of visual tactile integration and combination has also been paid attention to by researchers. Some researchers found that visual tactile integration needed to consume attention resources, that is, integration after attention; others found that visual tactile integration could improve selective attention, and that consuming attention resources did not change the weight of sensory channels. Integration is before attention. This study explored the role of attention in the integration and integration of visual tactile by manipulating the participants' attention level in the sensory channel while receiving visual tactile information. Experiment 1 uses the tactile conflict paradigm to study the effects of attention on tactile integration. Under the conditions of visual attention, tactile attention and control, the subjects performed visual matching and tactile matching on a visual and tactile stimulus. It is found that the matching results under visual attention conditions are close to visual stimuli, while those under control and tactile attention conditions are more inclined to tactile stimuli. Experiment 2 and experiment 3 used elastic discriminant task to study the effect of attention on the combination of visual tactile sense. Experiment 2 determines the validity of virtual spring and provides a suitable range of comparative stimuli for experiment 3. In experiment 3, using virtual spring as standard stimulus and real spring as comparison stimulus, the subjective equivalent point and minimum perceptible difference between real spring and virtual spring were measured by constant stimulation method. It was found that there was no significant difference between the subjective equality points and standard stimuli in tactile attention condition, while the elasticity of real spring was underestimated under visual attention condition. The results show that attention can be involved in the process of visual tactile integration (same dimension) and combination (cross-dimensional). Attention to the channel can adjust the weight of visual channel and tactile channel cues (visual tactile integration) and utilization efficiency (visual tactile combination), thus changing the perception results after visual tactile synthesis.
