  胃肠道寄生虫给全世界的畜牧业造成重大经济损失。其中,奥斯特线虫是寄生于反刍动物皱胃中的一种红棕色的线虫,导致胃炎(奥斯特线虫病),全世界范围内广泛流行,尤其是在温带气候地区。寄生线虫病是很容易被忽视并且对人类的健康造成了巨大的威胁。据估计,最常见的土源性寄生线虫为鞭虫(毛首鞭形线虫),钩虫(十二指肠钩口线虫和美洲钩虫)以及蛔虫(蛔虫)等线虫广泛流行于世界较贫穷地区,感染人数达到十亿人。线粒体是有重要生化功能的细胞器,是真核细胞产生能量的场所。线粒体(mt)基因组位于细胞器内且独立于核基因组,但彼此之间具有密切的关系。本研究对小反刍动物寄生线虫奥斯特线虫的完整线粒体(mt)基因组进行了DNA序列分析,并在预测的线粒体氨基酸序列数据集的基础上,对其与旋毛虫超家族成员的系统发育关系进行了研究。奥斯特线虫的整个线粒体基因组是圆形的,长度为14,151bp。它由总共36个基因组成,包括12个编码蛋白质的基因(PCGs),2个核糖体RNA(rRNA)基因,22个转移RNA(tRNA)基因和2个非编码区域,所有的基因都在同一方向转录。进化分析结果显示,基于12个蛋白质编码基因的预测氨基酸序列与捻转血...
