人的现代化视域下大学生自我教育研究

【摘要】:高等教育自我化和终身化的发展趋势,使大学生自我教育逐渐成长为一种显性的、主导的教育形式。从一般的意义上讲,大学生自我教育指的是受教育者的内化环节。实质上,大学生自我教育是指作为主体的大学生把自己视为教育对象的教育。这种教育是一种“我——我”模式的主体合一的个体自我教育。此外,相对于传统教育者——教师的角色而言,在受教育者——大学生之间存在的、无教师直接参与的、以“学生——学生”为体征的教育也属于大学生自我教育。严格的说,大学生自我教育的关键在于角色(自我)而不是一个环节或过程。尽管受教者内化过程中也存在自我教育成分,但它并不属于真正意义上的自我教育。大学生自我教育主要指学生个体和学生群体之间的教育。当然,我们也不能把大学生自我教育绝对化,即想当然的把大学生自我教育视为教育对象自己的事情。事实上,大学生自我教育不是不需要教育者的教育,相反却对他者教育提出了更高、更精准的要求,大学生自我教育的有效推进和顺利实现离不开外在的他人教育。随着现代社会的发展,大学生自我教育在个体成长、高校思想政治教育发展及社会进步等方面日益彰显出它独特的时代价值。但大学生自我教育目前现有的研究视角所存在的问题制约了它当代价值的发挥。确切的说,研究视角的选取问题是制约大学生自我教育深入发展的重要瓶颈。然而,从人的现代化视角研究大学生自我教育却具有无比重要的优势。大体而言,人的现代化属于具体的历史范畴,不同的社会性质赋予它不同的意义和内涵。依据我国的国家性质来讲,人的现代化不仅指出人要从不符合时代发展的传统人中提升出来,尤为重要的是,还要从单向度的片面发展的现代人中提升出来,进而使其成为一个全面发展的现代人。但全面发展的社会主义现代化新人离不开教育的造就,尤其是现代化教育的塑造和培养。事实证明,大学生自我教育作为教育现代化的重要标志,作为现代化教育的重要组成部分,能够在人的现代化的棱镜中,发挥它应有的作用和价值。在人的现代化境遇中审视大学生自我教育,当大学生作为教的一方即教育主体时,大学生需要首先在思想上用社会主义现代化新人理论、毛泽东思想中的青年思想政治教育理论及中国特色社会主义理论中青年思想政治教育理论武装自己,以此端正大学生自我教育的方向;当大学生在自我教育中作为自学的一方即教育客体存在时,它需要借助自律理论、自主学习理论及自我发展理论,提高个体内化的速度和效率,从而使自教与自学两个环节紧密的结合起来。当我们弄清楚人的现代化境遇中大学生自我教育的理论根基后,我们接下来要解决的一个重要问题就是“如何施教”的问题,对于此问题的处理,我们遵循人的现代化要求,针对现代化进程中大学生自我教育出现的问题及成因分析,先从理论层面对现有的大学生自我教育体系,如大学生自我教育的目标、内容、机制及评估等方面,进行重新建构,有效的解决大学生自我教育“如何教”的理论问题;并从实践层面对大学生自我教育的实现模式,即大学生自我教育的课堂教学实现模式、网络实现模式及社会实践实现模式,进行深入、全面的创新性探索,从而厘清大学生自我教育“如何教”的实践问题。然而,尽管处于具体操作层面的大学生自我教育的途径和方法,对于大学生自我教育的理论架构和实践模型构建而言是一件不证自明的事情。但受具体条件的限制,这时的大学生自我教育的途径和方法仅处于“应然”的状态,而非“实然”的境地。可大学生自我教育的途径和方法只有在“实然”的境况中,才能保证大学生自我教育的有效运行。这是我们把大学生自我教育的途径和方法作为独立章节进行探讨的重要缘由。因此,我们还需要对大学生自我教育的途径和方法进行思索的基础上,创新大学生自我教育的途径和方法,进而从具体实践的操作层面上深化大学生自我教育“如何教”的问题。总之,只有使大学生自我教育在以上各个环节上巧妙、有效的勾连起来,才能使它在人的现代化棱镜中绽放璀璨的光芒,释放巨大的能量。
