【摘要】：十八世纪后半叶,意大利剧作家卡尔洛·哥尔多尼一改传统“即兴喜剧”的种种弊端,提出了了比较完整的意大利喜剧改革理论,强调喜剧是对自然和生活的真实模仿,要用自然的人物性格来引起人们的共鸣。从这一点上看,他对意大利喜剧的发展,尤其是在人物塑造方面的贡献无疑是巨大的。每每提到意大利喜剧,人们还是反射性地想到哥尔多尼和他的《女店主》,因此无论是对哥尔多尼“性格喜剧”的整体理解,还是基于现在喜剧创作的考量,都有必要对特定意义的“喜剧改革”进行回顾与梳理,并结合具体作品中的人物加以深入分析,这不仅有利于我们了解当时意大利喜剧是如何地走向现代,且更为重要的是通过这种梳理与分析,从中吸取经验,亦能够更好地指导我们新世纪中国现当代喜剧的创作,因为虽然“喜剧改革”已然终结,但喜剧的创作却远未终结。论文以“人物性格分析”为切入点,将全文分为四章:第一章主要是对哥尔多尼生平及时代背景介绍,因为对作者生平和文化背景的了解,有助于我们更好的理解其创作思路。第二章的内容是本文的核心,一方面对哥尔多尼喜剧本身的特点和重要性进行了详细论述;另一方面对其喜剧改革的理论体系进行较为完整的梳理,如发生的背景(政治与学术角度、地理文化角度);过程中所讨论的焦点问题(性格塑造的创作方法)及意义,揭示哥尔多尼喜剧中塑造人物性格方面的学术价值。最后两章,则是对哥尔多尼“人物性格塑造”在具体作品的的体现进行举例与(比较)分析。因为无论哥尔多尼式的“人物性格塑造”有着怎样的局限或者理论功绩,最能够体现其价值的则必定是优秀喜剧作品问世,和意大利喜剧的现代化进程。
