体裁教学法在高中英语阅读教学中的行动研究

【摘要】:阅读在英语学习中扮演重要角色。传统的阅读教学更多注重文本中单词和语法的解读,然而阅读教学效果并非乐观。自20世纪80年代起,体裁教学法在世界范围内广受欢迎。基于重点了解选择的文本类型的体裁和体裁分析相关知识,研究者做了将体裁教学法运用到高中英语阅读教学中的行动研究。本研究的三个研究问题为:1.体裁教学法对高中学生阅读学习有哪些影响?2.在应用体裁教学法的过程中遇到了哪些问题?3.如何解决这些问题来使体裁教学更为有效?整个研究过程包含2轮行动研究,共历时4个月。研究对象为沈阳市第十中学高二八班的45名学生,每一轮行动研究包括:“提出问题”、“制定研究计划”、“实施研究计划”、“反思与评价”几个步骤。行动研究开始前,研究者进行了一些调查,意在了解当前阅读教学状况并发现存在哪些方面的问题,然后她尝试将以体裁为基础的教学方法运用到课堂中。教师对不同体裁文章的特点和模式分别进行了讲解和演示,并给出了一些课例和教学过程的详细说明。在第二轮行动研究中,研究者根据第一轮行动研究的结果和出现的问题调整了行动计划。她将教学过程从演绎变为归纳过程,并在阅读前向学生们介绍相关背景及文化知识,此外,研究者还加强了学生的阅读练习,并将最后的一步由对相似文章的分析转变为同体裁仿写。而后,她又将体裁教学法应用于英语阅读教学中,以解决问题,使阅读教学更有效。阅读理解测验及问卷所搜集到的数据分析是通过SPSS软件来进行的,此外,作者还对一些学生进行了访谈来了解他们对此教学法的态度及看法。研究结果表明,该方法对提高学生的阅读学习有积极的作用,这是一个提高高中生阅读体裁分析意识的有效工具。学生对此法表现出积极的态度。这种方法有效地激发了学生的阅读兴趣,这反过来又可能会增加学生的信心,形成良好的阅读习惯,在阅读时综合使用各种不同的阅读策略。由于时间限制和另外一些原因,本研究仍存在一些不足,例如,实验样本小、时间短等。因此,这些均有待日后进一步完善。
[Abstract]:Reading plays an important role in English learning. The traditional teaching of reading pays more attention to the interpretation of words and grammar in the text, but the effect of reading teaching is not optimistic. Since 1980s, Genre teaching method is popular all over the world. Based on the emphasis of understanding the selected text type of genre and genre analysis of relevant knowledge, The researcher has done an action study on applying genre-based approach to English reading teaching in senior high school. The three research questions in this study are: 1. What is the effect of genre-based approach on the reading learning of senior high school students? 2. What problems have been encountered in the application of genres? 3. How to solve these problems to make genre teaching more effective? The whole research process consisted of two rounds of action research, which lasted for four months. The subjects were 45 students from senior class 8 grade 2 students of 10th Middle School in Shenyang. Each round of action research includes: "ask questions," "develop research plans," "implement research plans," "reflect and evaluate." In order to understand the current situation of reading teaching and find out the problems, she tries to apply the genre-based teaching method to the classroom. The teacher explains and demonstrates the characteristics and models of different genres. In the second round of action research, the researcher adjusts the action plan according to the results of the first round of action research and the problems that arise. She turns the teaching process from deduction to inductive process. The students were introduced to the background and cultural knowledge before reading. In addition, the researchers strengthened the students' reading practice, and changed the last step from the analysis of similar articles to that of similar genres. She also applies genre-based approach to English reading teaching in order to solve problems and make reading teaching more effective. Reading comprehension tests and data analysis collected from questionnaires are conducted through SPSS software. The author also conducted interviews with some students to find out their attitudes and views on the teaching method. The results show that the method has a positive effect on improving students' reading learning. This is an effective tool to improve the awareness of reading genre analysis among high school students. Students show a positive attitude towards this method. This method effectively stimulates students' interest in reading, which in turn may increase students' confidence. To form a good reading habit and to use a variety of reading strategies when reading. Due to time constraints and other reasons, this study still has some shortcomings, such as small experimental samples, short time, and so on. These are to be further improved in the future.
