情境教学模式在大学英语词汇教学中的应用研究

【摘要】:随着时代的发展和社会的进步,社会对外语应用型人才的需求量增大,国家也提高了外语类人才的要求。国家层面越来越重视外语教学,我国教育部提出外语教学的首要任务是提升学生的语言运用能力,而语言运用能力与词汇教学是分不开的。当今词汇教学不能再是简单的教授学生单词的词义,而是引导学生合理地在具体情境中运用单词。在这种背景下,词汇教学方法的重要性尤为凸显。各个语言学派对此十分重视,并提出了相对科学的词汇教学方法,情境教学法就是其中之一。情境教学法自上世纪末传入我国后,在基础教育阶段发挥了举足轻重的作用,但是该教学法是否同样适用于国内高等教育阶段有待进一步探究。本研究选取西安市某三本高校非英语专业二年级两个平行班的学生,进行了一个学期的情境模式词汇教学实验,试图探究情境教学模式在大学的适用性以及是否能够改善大学生词汇学习方法和提高词汇产出性知识。实验结束后,通过数据分析同时根据数据结果进行分组,得出以下结论:首先,情境教学模式可以很好地改善学生的词汇学习方法;其次,与控制班相比,情境教学模式可以更大幅度提升实验班高分组学生的词汇产出性知识,但是对于实验班中间分组和低分组学生的词汇产出性知识提高有限。最后,针对高校教师词汇教学法,本文提出了应用情境模式以及综合应用多种方法的建议。
[Abstract]:With the development of the times and the progress of the society, the demand for foreign language applied talents is increasing, and the country has also raised the requirements of foreign language talents. At the national level, more and more attention has been paid to foreign language teaching. The Ministry of Education of our country put forward that the primary task of foreign language teaching is to improve the students' ability to use the language, and the ability of using the language is inseparable from the teaching of vocabulary. Nowadays, vocabulary teaching can no longer simply teach students the meaning of words. In this context, the importance of vocabulary teaching methods is particularly prominent. All linguistic parties attach great importance to this, and put forward a relatively scientific vocabulary teaching methods. Situational teaching method is one of them. Since it was introduced into our country in 0th century, situational teaching method has played an important role in the stage of basic education. However, whether the teaching method can be applied to the stage of higher education in China remains to be further explored. This study selects students from two parallel classes of non-English major in three universities in Xi'an. A one-semester situational vocabulary teaching experiment was conducted to explore the applicability of the situational teaching model in university and whether it can improve the vocabulary learning methods and vocabulary productive knowledge of college students. Through data analysis and grouping according to the data results, the following conclusions can be drawn: first, the situational teaching model can improve the vocabulary learning methods of students; secondly, compared with the control class, the situation teaching model can improve the vocabulary learning methods of students. The situational teaching model can greatly improve the students' vocabulary productive knowledge in the high score group of the experimental class, but the vocabulary productive knowledge of the middle and low groups students in the experimental class is limited. Finally, aiming at college teachers' vocabulary teaching method, the situation teaching model can improve the vocabulary production knowledge of the students in the experimental class. This paper puts forward some suggestions on the application of situational pattern and comprehensive application of various methods.
