规训权力与反抗:《一个青年艺术家的画像》中斯蒂芬自我建构的福柯式解读

【摘要】:前人对该小说的研究大多数集中于成长主题研究、反宗教反父权研究和人物性格研究、现代性和反现代性研究、美学研究、性别倒错研究、心理学研究、文化焦虑和宗教研究。在这些研究中,不乏涉及父权与反父权研究的文章,但对于这些权力是怎样对斯蒂芬的身体和心灵施加影响和实施规训的,以及斯蒂芬在规训权力的压迫和规训下是怎样实现自我建构的这两个问题并未作详细具体的讨论。因此,本文章借助福柯的规训权力理论,以及规训权力实现其目的的三种手段(层级监视、标准化裁决和审查),致力于回答和阐述以上两个问题。当然,在权力对其进行规训的同时,斯蒂芬也并非顺从地被、动地接受权力的规训和塑造,而是以不同的方式,甚至是自我流放的方式对规训他的权力进行反抗。最后通过建立自己的美学生存理论,成功建构自己年轻艺术家的身份。第一章是绪论,简要介绍乔伊斯和其作品《青年艺术家的画像》和提出研究问题及研究意义。第二章为文献综述分为两部分部分:第一部分是国外研究,主要有对斯蒂芬的原型解读、该小说互文性研究、该小说的现代性、反现代性研究、结构和叙事技巧研究以及对斯蒂芬心理学解读等;第二部分是国内研究:主要有成长主题研究,流亡主题研究、对斯蒂芬心的理学解读、民族文化宗教主题研究、以及斯蒂芬的身份危机研究等。第三章是批评方法:规训权力是一种权利类型,被运用于各种机构和体制,包括学习、家庭、医院以及确保纪律对整个社会的统治为主要职能的国家机构等。其规训手段有:层级监视、规范化裁决和检查。第四章主要从福柯的规训权力理论分析斯蒂芬追求自由和实现自我建构的成长历程,分为三部分:第一部分阐述规训权力通过家庭教育,学校教育和宗教教义对斯蒂芬实施规训,而面对权力的规训,幼年时期的斯蒂芬并没有表现出反抗意识,而是顺从屈服于各种规训力。青年时期的斯蒂芬意识到了规训权力的存在,对他所处的充满敌意的环境有所认识,他的反抗意识随着他对周围环境的认识而增加。但迫于自身力量弱小,他的生存之道便是反复的顺从和隐忍,然后做出适当的反抗。第二部分,成年的斯蒂芬对自己的处境的认识更加清楚,对他周围的世界也有了更清晰的了解,他不在是被动地接受各种权力的规训和塑型,而是选择主动提高自己的知识和能力、甚至不惜以自我流放的方式来拒斥和反抗权力的规训和改造。第三部分,主要阐述在反抗规训权力的过程中,斯蒂芬意识到艺术才是他实现自由地表达自己的途径。因此他不选择离开他的祖国去追寻他的艺术家的梦想与自由。第五章是论文的结论。经过一系列的思想启示和顿悟之后,斯蒂芬意识到他对规训权力的顺从和他曾追寻的快乐并不能使他内心充实,得到满足,而只有艺术才能让他实现心灵上的自由与重生。斯蒂芬选择自我流放,建立起了以追求真、美的美学生存理论,从而最终摆脱自己的自卑感和生存困境,克服了因权威和父法的压迫而已经内化了的恐惧。最后斯蒂芬作为一名追求美的完整、和谐和光辉的年轻艺术家,致力于将日常的生活经历转变为永恒的艺术,实现由微不足道的存在方式到生存美学的飞跃。最终完成自我的身份建构,获得心灵上的重生。
[Abstract]:Most of the previous studies of this novel focus on the study of the theme of growth, the study of anti religious and anti patriarchy and character research, modernity and anti modernity, aesthetics, gender and error, psychological research, cultural anxiety and religious research. In these studies, there are no lack of articles involving patriarchy and anti patriarchy, but these are for these studies How power exerts influence on Stephen's body and mind and the practice of discipline, and Stephen's two questions on how to realize self construction under the oppression and discipline of the disciplined power. Therefore, this article uses Foucault's rules of discipline, and the three hands of the disciplining power to achieve its purpose. Paragraph (hierarchical surveillance, standardized adjudication and review) is devoted to answering and explaining the above two questions. Of course, while the power is disciplined, Stephen is not obedient to the disciplining and shaping of power, but in a different way, or even from my exile, to revolt against his power. The first chapter is the introduction, which briefly introduces Joyce and his works "the portrait of young artists" and the research issues and research significance. The second chapter is divided into two parts: the first part is the foreign research, mainly to Stephen's prototype solution. Reading, the intertextuality of the novel, the modernity of the novel, the study of anti modernity, the study of the structure and narrative techniques and the interpretation of Stephen's psychology. The second part is the domestic research: the main research on the growth theme, the study of the theme of exile, the understanding of Stephen's heart, the study of the theme of ethnic culture and religion, and the identity danger of Stephen. The third chapter is the method of criticism: the power of discipline is a type of right, which is used in various institutions and systems, including learning, family, hospital, and national institutions that ensure that discipline is the main function of the society as a main function. Its training means are hierarchical surveillance, standardized adjudication and inspection. The fourth chapter is mainly from the discipline of Foucault. The theory of power analyzes Stephen's growth process of pursuing freedom and realizing self construction. It is divided into three parts: the first part expounds that the power of discipline is carried out through family education, school education and religious doctrines to practice Stephen. While facing the discipline of power, Stephen did not show resistance consciousness, but succumbed to the submission of obedience. Stephen, a young man, was aware of the existence of the power of discipline and was aware of his hostile environment. His rebellious consciousness increased with his understanding of the surrounding environment. But under his own weak strength, his way of survival was repeated obedience and forbearance, and then made appropriate resistance. The second part, The adult Stephen has a clearer understanding of his situation and a clearer understanding of the world around him. He is not passively accepting the disciplining and shaping of various powers, but choosing to actively improve his knowledge and ability, and even refuses and rejects the discipline and transformation of power by the formula of self exile. Third Part, mainly in the process of resisting the power of discipline, Stephen realized that art was his way to express himself freely. So he did not choose to leave his country to pursue his artist's dream and freedom. The fifth chapter was the conclusion of the thesis. After a series of inspiration and insight, Stephen realized him. The obedience to the power of discipline and the happiness he had pursued could not make him full and satisfied, but only art can make him realize the freedom and rebirth of his mind. Stephen chose to exile himself, set up a theory of aesthetic survival in pursuit of truth and beauty, and finally put off his own inferiority and survival predicament, and overcome the authority of authority. In the end Stephen, as a complete, harmonious and brilliant young artist pursuing beauty, devoted himself to transforming everyday life experience into eternal art, realizing the leap from a insignificant way of existence to survival aesthetics. Be reborn.
