阜阳方言对中学生英语语音习得的负迁移影响

【摘要】:在语言的学习过程中,语音方面是重要的一环。语音包含的不仅仅是"音",还有"情"、"态",即说话者的情感、态度等等。书面语的创造也是在以语音为基础的口语之上所建立的,因此,在第二语言的习得过程中,语音的重要性不言自明。只有准确地掌握发音,说话者表达的意思以及情感态度才能被听话者正确地理解。然而,在第二语言习得的过程中,母语和目标语之间的差异会对二语习得,尤其是语音的习得早成一定的负面影响,也就是负迁移。这个现象在中国方言区显得尤为明显。母语的负迁移,尤其是方言的负迁移,会使得第二语言学习者在发音时有明显的方言腔调,这不仅会影响口语表达,也会对听力方面造成比较大的限制。因此,在这种情况在,我们有必要对方言区的学生英语语音的现状进行一个细致的调查研究,并找到适合该方言区的改进策略。本研究以Stephen Krashen的二语习得迁移理论为理论基础,采用了对比分析理论和错误分析理论,利用EXCEL以及SPSS数据分析软件进行数据的处理和分析,以研究阜阳方言对于中学生英语语音习得的负迁移影响。文章围绕以下问题展开:第一,阜阳地区学生的英语语音学习背景如何?第二,阜阳地区学生的英语语音发音情况如何?第三,有没有对于减少负迁移影响的建议和方法?本研究以阜阳市城郊中学高一 62名学生为研究对象,首先对阜阳方言语音系统和英语语音系统进行描述和对比,通过问卷调查、收集学生的语音素材,对学生音段音位和超音段音位分别进行分析,结果显示学生极大暴露在阜阳方言的使用环境中,因此在音段音位和超音段音位均受到来自母语阜阳方言的负迁移影响。本研究旨在帮助阜阳地区的中学英语教师改进教学方法,帮助学生形成良好的英语语音发音,探索适合中学生英语教学的语音教学策略,从而减少中学生在英语语音学习中的困难,增强学习的兴趣和信心,并提出针对这个问题可以采取的有效策略,以切实减少阜阳方言对英语语音习得的负迁移影响。
[Abstract]:Phonetics is an important part of language learning. Pronunciation contains not only "sound", but also "emotion", "state", that is, the speaker's emotion, attitude and so on. The creation of written language is based on phonetics, so the importance of phonetics is self-evident in the process of second language acquisition. Only by accurately mastering pronunciation, the meaning expressed by the speaker and the emotional attitude can it be correctly understood by the hearer. However, in the process of second language acquisition, the difference between mother tongue and target language will have a negative effect on second language acquisition, especially the acquisition of pronunciation, that is, negative transfer. This phenomenon is particularly evident in the Chinese dialect. The negative transfer of mother tongue, especially the negative transfer of dialects, will make the second language learners have obvious dialect tone when they pronounce, which will not only affect the oral expression, but also cause a great limitation on the listening ability of the second language learners. Therefore, in this case, it is necessary for us to conduct a detailed investigation and study on the present situation of the students' English pronunciation in the dialect area, and to find out the appropriate strategies for the improvement of the dialect area. Based on Stephen Krashen's second language acquisition transfer theory, this study adopts comparative analysis theory and error analysis theory, and uses EXCEL and SPSS data analysis software to process and analyze the data. To study the negative transfer effect of Fuyang dialect on middle school students' English phonetic acquisition. This paper focuses on the following questions: first, what is the background of students' English phonetic learning in Fuyang? Second, how about the pronunciation of students in Fuyang area? Third, are there any suggestions and methods for reducing the impact of negative migration? This study takes 62 students in Fuyang City suburb Middle School as the research object. Firstly, the phonetic system of Fuyang dialect and the English phonetic system are described and compared, and the phonetics materials of the students are collected through questionnaires. The results show that the students are greatly exposed to the use of Fuyang dialect, so both the segmental phoneme and the supersyllabic phoneme are affected by the negative transfer from Fuyang dialect. The purpose of this study is to help middle school English teachers in Fuyang to improve their teaching methods, to help students to form good pronunciation, and to explore appropriate phonetic teaching strategies for middle school students. In order to reduce the difficulties of middle school students in English phonetics learning, enhance their interest and confidence, and put forward some effective strategies to solve this problem, in order to effectively reduce the negative transfer of Fuyang dialect on English phonetic acquisition.
