《搜索引擎优化(SEO)艺术》第10章翻译实践报告

【摘要】:21世纪是信息时代,是互联网经济占支配地位的时代,而搜索引擎优化技术是互联网商家获得发展的必备条件和有力武器。在这样的背景之下,美国SEO专著《搜索引擎优化(SEO)艺术》于2013年进入中国,如今已更新至第三版。该书的内容是关于科技英语分类中的“信息与计算机技术”。英汉两种语言在科技文本中的差异尤为明显,这为英汉翻译带来诸多困难,其中之一便是英语科技文本中,被动句的翻译。本报告以该书第10章《移动、本地、垂直SEO》的翻译实践为基础,通过翻译理论介绍和具体的案例分析,根据不同类型的被动句,探索尤金·奈达功能对等理论指导下最佳的翻译策略和方法,包括顺译、倒译、改译和转译等方法。本实践报告包括四个部分:项目描述、过程描述、理论和案例分析、实践总结。最后一部分总结笔者在翻译科技文本被动句时的方法,以及在翻译实践过程中的一些感悟与启示。
[Abstract]:The 21st century is the era of information and the dominant position of Internet economy. Search engine optimization technology is the necessary condition and powerful weapon for the development of Internet merchants. Against this background, the American SEO monograph search engine Optimization (SEO) Art, which entered China in 2013, has been updated to the third edition. The book is about information and computer technology in the classification of English for science and technology. The difference between English and Chinese in scientific and technological texts is particularly obvious, which brings many difficulties to English and Chinese translation, one of which is the translation of passive sentences in English scientific texts. This report is based on the translation practice of "Mobile, Local, Vertical SEO" in Chapter 10 of the book, based on the introduction of translation theory and case analysis, according to different types of passive sentences. This paper explores the best translation strategies and methods under the guidance of Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory. This practice report includes four parts: project description, process description, theory and case analysis, and practice summary. In the last part, the author summarizes the methods of translation of passive sentences in scientific and technological texts, as well as some insights and enlightenments in the process of translation practice.
