基于纽马克交际翻译理论的《物质世界》（节选）翻译实践报告

本翻译实践报告选取罗德尼·科特里尔的《物质世界》第七章和第九章为翻译源文本,第七章主要内容为矿物,第九章主要内容为金属。所选文本语言特色鲜明,含大量专业术语,用词严谨,逻辑性强,多用被动句和非人称句,是典型的科技文本,翻译很具挑战性。笔者在翻译文本时,综合运用SDL Trados Studio、Glossary Converter、ApSIC Xbench等工具和联合国术语库、术语在线、中国知网词典等资源,确保翻译准确性,提高翻译质量。翻译实践以纽马克交际翻译理论为指导。交际翻译要求译者在翻译过程中以目标语为导向,准确传达原文信息,贴近目标读者的语言表达习惯和文化,使译文更加顺畅、简洁、易懂,符合读者期望,从而增强读者效果。报告以翻译实践中的大量实例,从词汇、句子、修辞三个层面,运用交际翻译理论,就如何使译文更具可读性,从而达到译文的交际目的进行了认真分析和探索,并在此基础上,对科技文本的翻译策略和技巧提出了对策建议。本实践报告为科技文本的汉译提供了有益参考。本报告包括五个部分:翻译任务描述、翻译过程、翻译理论、案例分析以及实践总结。第一部分简要介绍了研究背景、研究意义以及翻译任务;第...
