纽马克文本类型理论指导下的《HPV-303知情同意书》英译实践报告

　　一种疾病治疗方案的诞生往往伴随着相关的临床试验,这个过程需要人们,尤其是患者的参与。本翻译实践报告的翻译材料为笔者在翻译公司实习期间承接的《HPV-303知情同意书》。受众者为患有宫颈癌前病变的在华外国人。本翻译材料属于信息信息型文本,但兼具两种功能,即信息功能和表达功能。文本中大量的妇科专业词汇,以及知情同意书独特的句法特征给笔者的翻译工作带来了极大的挑战。在本次翻译实践报告中,笔者以纽马克的文本类型理论为指导,从词汇、句子以及语篇方面探讨了知情同意书的翻译方法,以期最大限度将文本信息准确地传达给受试者。在词汇层面,笔者着重研究了医学术语及临床试验术语的翻译方法;在句子层面,笔者主要探讨了无主语句和复杂句的翻译方法;在语篇层面,笔者主要从术语一致方面进行了具体的翻译研究。本次翻译实践证明,文本类型理论能够帮助译者灵活、准确地传递文本信息,达到理想的翻译效果。笔者通过对译文的分析,总结出了一些可行的翻译方法。通过此次翻译实践,笔者提高了自身的翻译技能,为日后的翻译工作打下了良好的基础。
