翻译规范理论视角下的《西游记》余国藩英译本研究

　　本研究以吉迪恩·图里的翻译规范理论为基础,以余国藩的《西游记》英译本为个案分析语料,采用描述性翻译研究范式,以定性的研究方法将译者和译本置于社会历史语境中,研究余国藩《西游记》英译本呈现出怎样的特点,译者遵循了怎样的翻译规范,这些翻译规范对于译本的面貌和译者翻译策略的选择又产生了怎样的影响。图里的翻译规范理论为确立本文的理论框架和研究方法提供了有力支撑,然而,图里的研究也存在一定的历史局限性,本文在翻译规范理论框架的基础上补充提出了译后规范这一概念,以强调翻译规范作用于翻译活动的各个阶段。主要研究发现如下:译者余国藩（以下简称余）在整个翻译过程中都受到了翻译规范的影响。在初始规范制约下,余主要遵循源语文本规范,倾向于呈现出译本的充分性。在预备规范制约下,译本的选择和翻译的直接性受到源语和目的语所处的社会背景和文化环境的双重影响。余译《西游记》的预备规范反映了中西方文化交流的时代需求,体现了直接翻译的必要性和可行性。操作规范包括结构规范和篇章语言规范。余遵循了源语文本结构规范,余译《西游记》在篇章结构、内容和叙事方法等方面与源语文本保持一致。在篇章语言规范制约下,余主要采取诗词全译、异化...
