英语“Be+V-en”构式的认知语义研究

在英语中,被动语态是非常重要的动词语法范畴。对于被动语态的研究,国内外相关语法学家其著述颇丰。先前研究从语法研究的不同流派(如传统语法、转换语法、功能语法和认知语法)出发,对be型被动态即be passive进行研究。许多研究学者将Be+V-en这一构式(简称为BVC)作为英语动词被动语态的标记式或者原型式。事实上,被动语态典型式以及系表结构都被归入BVC构式。鲜有研究对BVC做出详细探讨,尤其是对BVC意义研究、BVC意义建构及其背后认知理据进行研究。为了更深入研究BVC,本文试图跳出BVC为被动语态这一预设的前提,从认知角度深入探讨该构式。本研究试图从认知角度出发,运用语法化理论,典型事件模型理论和认知识解理论,探讨以下三个问题:(1)英语“Be+V-en”构式的语义特征有哪些?(2)英语“Be+V-en”构式的语法化过程是什么?(3)英语“Be+V-en”构式的意义是如何建构的?本文主要得出以下三个结论。首先,BVC主要存在两种意义,被动意义和非被动意义。根据施事的有无,可划分为显性被动意义和隐性被动意义。根据动作的结果是否具有延续性,可划分为完成被动意义和非完成被动意义。因此从...
