平衡双语者与非平衡双语者英语写作水平对比研究 ——以新疆某高校少数民族三语学习者为例

新疆是多文化、多民族、多语言的交汇地,具备研究三语甚至多语问题的充分条件。本研究以三语习得理论和语言迁移理论为理论基础,以新疆某高校L3为英语的80名维吾尔族学生为研究对象,对平衡双语者与非平衡双语者的英语写作能力差异以及可能造成两类双语者写作能力存在差异的因素两个问题进行了研究。本研究以受试者的语言水平测试成绩为依据,根据Tunmer et al(1984)对平衡双语和不平衡双语的界定,此次研究将研究对象分为平衡双语组与非平衡双语组两组。平衡双语组有38人,非平衡双语组有42人。其次,测试受试者英语写作,并从复杂度、准确度、流利度三个维度对受试者英语写作水平进行对比研究。最后,通过语言学习者问卷调查对受试者的语言学习背景,跨语言影响,以及学习方法和策略进行调查。主要的研究发现是:1.维吾尔族平衡双语者的英语写作能力比非平衡双语者强。分别体现在平衡组英语写作的词汇复杂度、句法复杂度显著高于非平衡组;平衡组的英语写作中出现了更多准确无误的从句和正确无误的动词形式的表达;平衡组的英语写作流利度明显高于非平衡组的英语写作流利度;2.平衡双语者与非平衡双语者在语言能力、语言距离、语言使用近况、...
