刘公岛旅游景点英译实践报告

　　刘公岛是山东威海的特色景点,其旅游材料的翻译是西方游客了解该岛的重要窗口。根据本学院和刘公岛管委会签订的服务地方横向翻译合同(2016.6-2018.6),作者在导师的指导下参与了刘公岛新增展馆的汉英翻译工作,具体内容包括“刘公岛概况”、“陈列馆讲解词”、“提督署讲词”、“前言”以及“对台湾长鬃山羊、台湾梅花鹿和糜鹿的介绍”,共计14,392字。根据翻译合同要求,译文首先需确保信息的准确性和文本可读性。同时根据旅游文本的实际特点,参考纽马克的文本类型和翻译策略,译文应注重文本的交际效果,以达到传播文化的目的。在案例分析中,作者根据本项目的特点,将该材料分为导游解说词和景点介绍词两部分。其中,导游解说词具有使用口语化表达、简洁和逻辑性以及现场感的特点,翻译时需要尽量传达;景点说明词重在信息价值,翻译时需要对客观信息进行忠实呈现、对中国特有术语进行释义以及对背景信息进行补充等。本次实践为初译稿,具有原创性和实用价值,希望本实践报告能对旅游文本的翻译提供一定的参考价值。
