英汉词汇审美选择对比与翻译研究

当今社会,英语作为一种世界通用语言,在我们的日常生活中发挥着日益重要的作用。作为英语专业学习者,翻译水平的高低不仅影响着我们个人的前途和未来,还影响着我国与世界的交流水平。翻译就本身而言,是一种审美基础上的再创作。翻译作品的质量好坏,除去最基本的语言功底,则完全取决于译者审美素养的高低。但翻译美学理论目前主要应用在诗歌、戏曲、散文、文学翻译等领域当中,而对于词汇的审美指导与应用十分有限。词汇作为建构语言大厦的基石,对词汇的准确把握和应用直接影响着我们的语言交流质量。但我国英语学习者对于词汇的学习,效果并不理想,通常将词汇孤立起来进行学习,忽视了词汇背后的社会文化差异,以至于连词汇的基本含义都掌握不准确、不全面,对于单词的词性、搭配就更不清楚了,从而在使用时屡屡出错,贻笑大方。英汉词汇之间存在着很大差异。而语言的差异必不可少的要谈及文化差异、思维差异以及语言本身的差异。因此本文将以翻译美学理论为指导,运用对比的研究方法,通过分析大量的具体翻译实例,着重从审美的角度,从英汉词汇的意义、词性、搭配这几个方面入手,归纳中英词汇的审美差异,并总结出差异背后的原因,旨在为中英词汇翻译提供参考,进一...
