译者跨文化能力对学生翻译行为的影响

  译者跨文化能力是翻译教育的重要培养目标。那么,译者跨文化能力对学生的翻译行为会产生什么样的影响?本研究选取河北农业大学45名选修高级笔译实践的英语专业二年级学生为被试,采用定量定性相结合的研究方法,试图揭示译者跨文化能力对学生翻译行为的影响。首先,通过译者跨文化能力量表测量学生译者跨文化能力(自变量),以中位数(4.22)为界将被试分为译者跨文化能力低分组(N=21)和高分组(N=24):然后,被试在屏幕键盘行为记录软件Translog的界面中将一篇富有文化专有项的中文短文译成英文,最终记录到译者翻译过程中的9个行为变量(因变量):键盘行为次数、文本生成字数、文本删除字数、用时、每分钟用户行为次数、每分钟文本生成字数、停顿用时、翻译用时和译后编辑用时;最后,通过独立样本T检验和多元线性回归分析,分析译者跨文化能力对翻译过程中行为的影响,通过分析译者跨文化能力高分被试与低分被试的译后反思报告,进一步了解被试翻译文化专有项过程中的认知行为。结果表明:(1)译者跨文化能力对译文生成速度有显著影响(t=-1.659,p<0.05)。译者跨文化能力越高,翻译速度更快,翻译用时越短,停顿时间...
