论《三字经》英译的多元互补性

本文主要基于多元互补理论探究《三字经》的重译本以及译本质量科学评估问题。多元互补理论提倡以立体思维方式看待翻译理论问题,该理论一改往日二元对立的翻译理论思维模式,成为翻译理论研究的崭新视角。《三字经》作为我国经典蒙学代表著作之一,以其三字一句、四句一节、短小精悍、琅琅上口的特征广受中外读者的青睐。以多元互补理论的思维方式为基础,探讨《三字经》英译本以归化和异化相结合的翻译策略产生的新的英译本,并以定性和定量分析方法评价重译本,将丰富《三字经》英译研究的多样性以及评价研究的充分性。汉学家翟里斯（Herbert Allen Giles）的1900年的英译本San Tzu Ching以内容的详实性以及译本的结构的完整性至今仍具有相当的影响力。为了使中国文化为异域读者所理解,其主张归化的翻译风格为主。2014年,赵彦春英译本The Three Word Primer以三词对三字,“aabb”为韵式的独特译风引起学者的关注与探讨。该译本主张中华文化“走出去”,强调异化的翻译风格为主。而学者对不同译者译本的评价主要倾向于定性研究方法,多倾向于以某种理论的视角下去评估该译本的各个方面,主观性较强,不...
