《唐老亚》（第六至九章）英汉翻译项目报告

　　本文是一篇英译汉翻译项目报告。翻译源文本选自华裔美国作家赵建秀的成长小说《唐老亚》的第六章至第九章。广西哲学社会科学规划项目“华裔美国成长小说的文学伦理学批评研究”的负责人委托笔者进行第六-九章的中文翻译,源文本10,530个英文单词,中文译文作为该项目的研究参考资料。《唐老亚》主要描写一位十二岁的在美华裔男孩唐老亚受美国主流文化影响,歧视与中国有关的一切,希望抹去中国痕迹并完全融入美国主流社会。在一系列的家庭教育当中,唐老亚逐渐认识到真正的中国文化,进而接受并认同自己华人身份。该项目的翻译文本主要是唐老亚在中国新年第一天发生的故事。翻译文本属于文学类小说翻译。该翻译项目报告涵盖了项目描述、指导理论、译前准备、案例分析、经验总结等。笔者选取了英国翻译理论家皮特·纽马克的交际翻译理论为指导,该理论注重目标语读者与原文读者获得同样的文学美感,注重目标语读者反应,译者对解释原文、调整句式等操作具有较大自由。在案例分析中,笔者深入探讨了非正式英语词汇（包括粤式英语、唐人街英语）的翻译、非英语语法句式的调整与翻译、中英文化负载词的翻译、如何再现原文文体风格等。笔者还分析了词类转译法、增词法、省略...
