《德莱塞》第一部分英汉翻译实践报告

　　美国作家威·安·斯旺伯格（W.A.Swanberg）撰写的人物传记《德莱塞》（DREISER）记录了美国现代小说作家西奥多·德莱塞（Theodore Dreiser）生平。全书共六部分,译者承担了该书第一部分的翻译任务。第一部分主要讲述西奥多·德莱塞的童年时光。西奥多·德莱塞被誉为“美国现代小说的先驱”,他的作品贴近生活,凸显现实主义。翻译这本传记能让中文读者更好地解读德莱塞的作品以及作品中的现实主义。英国翻译理论学家乔治·斯坦纳提出了翻译四步骤,分别是“信赖”、“入侵”、“吸收”、“补偿”。译者主体性能在四步骤中体现。本次翻译活动中,译者可从双语言操作能力,跨文化意识,艺术再造,美学标准四个方面发挥译者主体性,从而提高译文的可读性。在《德莱塞》翻译报告中,译者将尝试阐述译者主体性在翻译四步骤中的体现,通过实例阐述译者如何在翻译过程中发挥译者主体性来处理原文本中的叙述视角的翻译,文化负载词的翻译。并试总结,在理论指导下,在文学翻译中选取合适的翻译策略可以提高文学翻译作品的可读性。该翻译报告包含五个部分。第一个部分是对此次翻译内容的介绍,包含翻译的背景和意义,还有翻译报告的结构。第二部分...
