西安旅游景区汉语公示语英译的语用失误分析

　　近年来,随着对外开放步伐的不断推进,我国的国际化程度在日益提高。在国际化城市建设方面,如今,越来越多的城市开始釆用双语公示语来展现其现代化及与国际接轨的程度。与此同时,政府及相关部门对城市双语公示语的规范化,尤其是英语公示语的规范化也更加关注。本文根据托马斯提出的语用失误原则,主要采用文本分析的方法,以西安的公示语为主要研究数据,探讨西安景区语用失误的原因,以提高西安风景名胜区中文公示语的英语翻译水平。本文回答的问题如下:1.在托马斯的语用失误原则的基础上,西安公示语的汉英翻译中存在着什么样的语用失误?上述语用失误的比例是多少?2、西安公示语汉英翻译中语用语言失误和社会语用失误的原因是什么?3、提高西安公示语汉英翻译质量的建议有哪些?本文的主要研究成果如下:首先,基于托马斯的语用失误理论及其分析原则,本文对收集到的公示语进行了文本分析,发现西安市公示语汉英翻译中存在的问题主要源于语用失误,即语用语言失误和社会语用失误。具体来说,西安风景名胜区的语用失误多为社会语用失误,语用失误仅占一小部分。第二,语义和句法对等的负迁移导致语用语言失误,而社会语用失误的主要原因是语调和语气的不当使用,以...
