功能对等论视角下《成都街巷志》（节选）翻译报告

　　本报告选取袁庭栋先生所著《成都街巷志》上卷为翻译研究对象,内容涉及与街巷相关的名人故事和历史遗迹的翻译。作者袁廷栋在个人研究和史料的基础上客观记叙了老成都的街巷故事,为了让英文读者更准确的理解原文,本文以功能对等理论为指导,从词汇对等、句法对等、篇章对等、文体对等四个方面探索历史文献的翻译策略,解决中国历史文献英译的难点,尽可能使译文达到功能对等,提高译文的可接受性。报告共分为四章:第一章分析源文本,确定文本类型和语言特征。第二章详述翻译过程中的三个步骤。第三章概述功能对等四个层次。第四章举证研究功能对等理论在历史文献翻译的适用性。最后总结研究意义、研究局限和建议。本报告旨在为以信息型为主的历史文献英译提供可操作的翻译策略,为成都街巷志和巴蜀文化的相关翻译和外宣提供借鉴,促进中西文化交流和巴蜀文化在国外的研究。
