解析《老友记》中幽默的模糊性

【摘要】： 幽默,作为一种特殊的语言艺术,渗透到生活的方方面面.它体现了个人的智慧、魅力、修养和交际技巧。在日常交际中,它可以缓和人际关系,改善交际氛围。无可否认,幽默是生活中不可缺少的一部分。多年来,学者们从哲学、美学、社会学、心理学和人类学等各个学科对幽默进行了研究。近年来,越来越多的学者从语言学角度来研究幽默,尤其是从语用角度。幽默的研究领域变得越来越广泛。然而,根据幽默以往的研究来看,似乎还没有一种理论能够很好地解释幽默是如何产生的。在本论文中,作者将为幽默提供一个新的研究视角,即试图从模糊理论的角度来解释幽默是如何产生的。自从美国学者札德在20世纪60年代提出著名的模糊集理论以后,很多学者都开始从语义学、语用学、修辞学、心理学等多个角度致力于模糊语言的研究,并且在这一领域取得了巨大成就。与此同时,学者们不仅关注对模糊语言本身的研究,还注重其运用,用其来解释外交、新闻报道、广告等语言现象。本文将从模糊理论的角度研究幽默,阐明模糊理论是如何解释幽默的生成的。模糊理论认为幽默的产生是发出者利用模糊区域制造幽默的过程。情境喜剧是一种喜剧表演,作为幽默的载体,它为幽默的研究提供了充分的材料。本文以著名的情景喜剧《老友记》作为语料,采用模糊理论来分析幽默。为了保证研究结果的客观性和有效性,本论文选取了《老友记》中每一季的三集作为语料,并采用定性分析和定量分析的方法对这三十集中的幽默话语进行了研究,并得出结论:与语音、语义模糊相比,语用模糊在幽默话语的产生机制中起着比较重要的作用。这篇论文既具有理论意义也具有实践意义。理论上讲,第一,它以模糊理论作为理论基础,对《老友记》中的幽默做了全面而详细的分析,进一步在模糊理论的框架下发展了幽默的产生机制,这一点不同于以往对幽默的研究,并且在一定程度上拓展了幽默和情景喜剧的理论研究。第二,它运用模糊理论分析《老友记》中幽默话语的产生机制,扩展了模糊理论的运用范围。从实践上来讲,它能够帮助人们更加容易地理解和欣赏幽默。
[Abstract]:Humor, as a special language art, permeates every aspect of life. It embodies the wisdom, charm, accomplishment and communication skill of individual. In daily communication, it can relax the interpersonal relationship and improve the communication atmosphere. Humor is an indispensable part of life. Over the years, scholars have studied humor in philosophy, aesthetics, sociology, psychology and anthropology. In recent years, more and more scholars have studied humor from a linguistic perspective. Especially from a pragmatic point of view, the research field of humor has become more and more extensive. However, according to previous studies on humor, there seems to be no theory that can explain how humor is produced. The author will provide a new perspective for humor, that is, trying to explain how humor is produced from the angle of fuzzy theory. Since American scholar Zadeh put forward the famous fuzzy set theory in 1960s, many scholars have devoted themselves to the study of fuzzy language from the perspectives of semantics, pragmatics, rhetoric, psychology and so on. At the same time, scholars not only pay attention to the study of vague language itself, but also pay attention to its application, and use it to explain diplomacy and news reports. This paper will study humor from the perspective of fuzzy theory and explain how fuzzy theory explains the generation of humor. The fuzzy theory holds that humor is produced by the issuer using fuzzy areas. Situational comedy is a kind of comedy performance, which acts as the carrier of humor. In this paper, the famous sitcom Friends is used as the corpus and fuzzy theory is used to analyze humor. In order to ensure the objectivity and validity of the research results, In this paper, three episodes of Friends are selected as the corpus, and the humorous discourse in the 30 episode is studied by qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and the conclusion is as follows: compared with phonetics and semantic ambiguity, this paper studies the humor discourse in the 30 episode by qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Pragmatic vagueness plays an important role in the production mechanism of humorous discourse. This paper has both theoretical and practical significance. Theoretically speaking, it takes fuzzy theory as the theoretical basis and makes a comprehensive and detailed analysis of humor in Friends. It further develops the mechanism of humor under the framework of fuzzy theory, which is different from previous researches on humor, and to some extent expands the theoretical study of humor and sitcom. It uses fuzzy theory to analyze the mechanism of humor utterance in Friends, which expands the scope of application of fuzzy theory. In practice, it can help people to understand and appreciate humor more easily.
