围绕“平面设计在中国09展”的网络讨论

【摘要】：第十一届全国美展、lcograda世界设计大会、中国广告节、平面设计在中国(GDC)09展……一个个令人耳熟能详的大展在秋季相继登场。不过对于很多专业设计师来说,显然即将于深圳举办的"09展"更令他们瞩目。2008年底,深圳市被联合国教科文组织授予"设计之都"的称号。对于这一称号的争取,平面设计界功不可没;而作为深圳市唯一的设计行业组织,以及唯一独立的平面设计师协会——深圳市平面设计协会及其从1995年开始主办的"GDC"双年展显然贡献巨大。然而,正当人们对"09展"充满期待的时候,"平协"却在为办展经费而为难。"平协"只是一个由民间设计师自发组成的地方性非营利组织,最早的"GDC"展是由"平协"理事们个人资助才办起来的。"平协"的组织者们满以为在"设计之都"的称号成功获得后,深圳市政府会提供更多的经费支持,然而最终得到的答复是,由于"经济危机",不但今年政府拨款的额度会在往年(40万)的基础上有所减少,而且也不再由政府先行拨款,而是要求主办者"自筹垫付,事后报销"。消息传出,深圳市平面设计协会的两位名誉主席、"GDC"展的主要组织者陈绍华和王粤飞先后通过网络表达了个人的不满。随后,在陈绍华的个人博客中,设计界的众多网友纷纷"跟贴",发表见解。有网友表示,在一个商业社会中举办设计大展,主要的反响是在圈内,因此其经费应该由组织者拉赞助或者收取参赛费等形式来解决,而不应该首先想到通过政府索要纳税人的钱;但也有一些网友表示,"经济危机"只是借口,设计行业要走出"自说自话"的小圈子,必须由政府通过具体行动提供更多的扶持,政府也应该尽自己对"设计之都"的责任与文化担当。网络上的言论不代表本刊的立场。与学理化的设计批评相比,尽管网友的言论往往带有感性和极端的色彩,但这些观点鲜明的留言显示,人们期待的并不是政府为一次设计展览提供多少经费,而是期待设计行业得到政府更切实的支持与全社会的关注。
