莫霍利—纳吉设计教育思想主导下的新包豪斯设计教育模式研究

【摘要】:二战在即,伴随着包豪斯在德国的解散,美洲大陆的稳步发展为其设计教育理念传播提供了有利契机,这其中包括格罗皮乌斯、密斯·凡·德·罗,莫霍利-纳吉、阿尔伯斯等人先后纷沓而至。1937年,美国独特的社会环境与商业文化需求造就了新包豪斯的出现,莫霍利-纳吉也从此与美国设计艺术教育结下了不解之缘。新包豪斯最初依附于美国芝加哥艺术与工业协会成立,其发展一波三折,但一直延续到今时今日,并对当代的设计教育产生了重要影响。文章选取1937年至1946年为研究时间段,以莫霍利—纳吉设计教育思想主导下的新包豪斯设计教育模式为研究对象。首先梳理了新包豪斯成立的历史背景及社会需求,对其总体发展历程进行回顾;而后,从第二章开始,对莫霍利—纳吉的设计教育思想形成与发展进行了分段剖析,同时对新包豪斯教员的多元化组成进行梳理,从中归纳出“莫霍利—纳吉圈”核心成员的形成与影响;基础课程与专业车间的探索实践,构成了新包豪斯“艺术与科学和技术的统一”设计教育模式,而二战时期的专业化设置也回答了新包豪斯在探讨设计与社会关系的着力点;最后,通过分析莫霍利—纳吉去世之后新包豪斯设计教育的发展与影响,归纳与总结了新包豪斯在适应芝加哥地区社会发展、设计教育模式上的改革与创新。
[Abstract]:With the dissolution of Bauhaus in Germany, the steady development of the American continent provided a favorable opportunity for the spread of design education ideas, including Gropius, Mies van der Rowe, Moholy-Naji. In 1937, the unique social environment and commercial cultural needs of the United States brought up the emergence of the new Bauhaus, and Moholey Naji became inseparable from the American design art education. New Bauhaus was founded by the Art and Industry Association of Chicago. Its development has been a lot of twists and turns, but it continues to this day and has had an important impact on contemporary design education. This paper selects 1937-1946 as the research period, takes the new Bauhaus design education pattern under the Moholly-Naji design education thought as the research object. First of all, it combs the historical background and social needs of New Bauhaus, reviews its overall development course, and then, from the second chapter, analyzes the formation and development of Moholy-Naji 's educational design thought. At the same time, combing the diversified composition of the new Bauhaus teachers, the formation and influence of the core members of the Moholy-Naji Circle, the exploration practice of basic courses and professional workshops, It constitutes the new Bauhaus "the unity of art and science and technology" design education model, and the specialized setting during World War II also answers the new Bauhaus' focus on the relationship between design and society. Based on the analysis of the development and influence of the new Bauhaus design education after Moholy-Naji 's death, this paper summarizes the reform and innovation of the new Bauhaus' design education mode in adapting to the social development of Chicago area.
