厦门市中小学生语言态度和语言使用调查研究

  为了调查厦门市中小学对待普通话,英语和闽南话的语言态度,以及开设闽南方言课堂,父母教育背景,性别,年龄对孩子语言态度的影响,本论文调查了厦门市6个区的253个中小学生,其中包括115个中学生和138个小学生。第一,研究发现厦门市中小学生从情感层面上对三种语言都展现出正面的态度;中小学生在对语言的“有用程度”上,对闽南语的评价略低于普通话和英语。第二,厦门市“闽南方言与文化”课程的开展和学生对于闽南的语言态度之间有着紧密联系。在闽南语的好听程度,亲切程度,社会影响和有用程度方面,开设闽南语课程的学生对于闽南语的评价都高于未开设闽南语课程的学生,尤其是在学生对闽南语的社会影响的语言态度上有显著性差异。第三,厦门市中小学女生不管是情感层面或者是认知层面,对普通话的评价最高,而男生对于闽南话的评价较低。第四,父母的受教育水平不同,孩子对待三种语言的态度也不太相同。父母受教育水平在本科以下的孩子认为普通话和闽南语的社会地位和有用性评价更好,而父母的受教育水平在本科及本科以上的受访学生更加认可英语的社会地位。本文同时还调查了学生在三个不同领域的语言使用情况,即家庭域,学校域和公共域。研究发现,厦门...
