《抓住时日》对犹太人现代化“旅行”的反思

【摘要】："哈斯卡拉"运动是犹太社会从传统迈向现代的转折点。索尔·贝娄在其中篇小说《抓住时日》中对犹太人的现代化"旅行"进行了客观书写与反思。本文运用现代性理论,结合犹太教的宗教、文化语境,对小说标题的内蕴进行多重阐释。通过分析在现代性"宏大叙事"下断裂的"时间之矢",以及犹太人因此遭遇的"失根"之痛,揭示贝娄在犹太教现代转型问题上的立场:犹太人内心的终极需要不仅立足于现代性,还深植于历史经验与传统中,"旅行"着的犹太人要"抓住时日"重铸"时间之矢"。
[Abstract]:"Skala" movement is the turning point of Jewish society from tradition to modernity. Saul Bellow, in his novel seize the Day, objectively writes and reflects on the Jewish modern travel. Based on the theory of modernity and the religious and cultural context of Judaism, this paper expounds the content of the title of the novel. Through the analysis of the "arrow of time" broken under the "grand narrative" of modernity, and the pain of "loss of root" encountered by Jews as a result, This paper reveals Bellow's position on the modern transformation of Judaism: the ultimate need of Jewish heart is not only based on modernity, but also deeply rooted in historical experience and tradition.
