西方现代主义文学中的圣杯原型

【摘要】：圣杯原型作为西方文学最重要的原型之一,发展与繁盛于中世纪,是基督的象征。但是,现代主义使得圣杯原型的宗教内涵发生了断裂,并彻底走向世俗化。圣杯原型也从天堂走向人间,从神性回归人性,从象征信仰转向隐喻现实人生,与普罗大众融为一体。作为一种文学隐喻,圣杯原型凝结着西方文学对某种可望而不可即的理想境界的追求。圣杯原型精神象征的变异,不仅体现了西方文学与文化追求向上飞升的超越精神,而且展现了西方文学象征手法的变迁,具有重要的审美价值。
[Abstract]:As one of the most important archetypes in western literature, the Holy Grail developed and flourished in the Middle Ages and was the symbol of Christ. However, modernism breaks the religious connotation of the Holy Grail archetype and goes to secularization. The archetype of the Holy Grail also moves from heaven to earth, from divinity to humanity, from symbolic belief to metaphorical reality of life, and integrates with the general public. As a literary metaphor, the archetype of the Holy Grail condenses the Western literature's pursuit of a certain ideal realm which can not be reached immediately. The variation of the archetypal symbol of the Holy Grail not only embodies the transcendental spirit of western literature and culture, but also shows the change of symbolism of western literature, which has important aesthetic value.
