基因编辑技术的发展及在畜牧业中的应用

【摘要】:畜牧业作为支撑我国农业经济的一大支柱,对提高人民生活质量,促进农业经济发展,具有重大意义。自上个世纪80年代美国成功在植物基因组上实现稳定基因编辑以来,转基因技术取得了飞速的发展。基因修饰动物的发展在推动生命科学研究的同时,也深刻地影响到了诸如农业、畜牧业、医疗业等诸多行业的发展。在畜牧业,基因编辑技术主要应用于:优化畜产品生产、提高畜禽抗病能力、生产特种畜产品和通过基因编辑手段进行畜禽类去势等方面。此外,基因编辑技术还可以用于畜牧业饲料添加,通过降低畜牧业饲养成本,间接提高畜牧业生产经济效率。
[Abstract]:Animal husbandry, as a pillar of supporting agricultural economy in China, is of great significance in improving the quality of life of people and promoting the development of agricultural economy. Since the successful implementation of stable gene editing in the plant genome in the United States in the 1980s, Transgenic technology has made rapid progress. The development of genetically modified animals not only promotes life science research, but also profoundly affects the development of many industries, such as agriculture, animal husbandry, medical treatment, etc. In animal husbandry, Gene editing technology is mainly used in the following aspects: optimizing the production of livestock products, improving the disease resistance of livestock and poultry, producing special animal products and castration of livestock and poultry by means of gene editing, etc. Gene editing technology can also be used to feed animal husbandry, by reducing the raising cost of animal husbandry, indirectly improving the economic efficiency of animal husbandry production.
