家鸡和红原鸡的血液寄生虫和遗传多样性比较

  以往研究表明,在鸟类,在大多数情况下,雄鸟比雌鸟更容易感染寄生虫。但关于不同羽色的鸟类、鸟类在繁殖季节和非繁殖季节的寄生虫的感染性研究,结果却很不一致。一些研究表明,鸟类羽色与寄生虫感染率相关,同时随季节变化而不同;而一些研究则没有发现这种相关性。但有关家鸡(Gallus gallus domesticus)和野生红原鸡((G.gallus)对寄生虫,尤其是血液寄生虫的感染性的比较,尚未见有报道。因此,我们于2016-2019年,对家鸡、驯养原鸡和分布在海南岛的野生红原鸡的血液寄生虫和遗传多样性进行了比较。首先,一共采集了297只家鸡的血样,发现234只感染血孢子虫(78.5%)。139只雄鸟中,118只感染血液孢子虫(84.8%);158只雌鸟中,116只感染(73.4%)。雌、雄鸟在体重和血液寄生虫的感染率方面具有显著差异,雄鸟高于雌鸟。在家鸡体色方面,红色家鸡的身体指标参数显著优于其他体色的家鸡(黑色、黄色、黑黄色和白色)。血液孢子虫的感染率在白色和红色的家鸡中最高,尽管不同颜色家鸡群的血液孢子虫感染率比较没有达到显著性水平。此外,血液孢子虫的感染率在鸟类繁殖季显著高于非繁殖季。...
