持续默读对初中生英语阅读能力影响的个案研究

阅读在第二语言习得过程中占据举足轻重的地位,是学生探索目标语言和获取信息的重要方式。阅读也是中学英语考试的重要组成部分。因此,中学英语教师普遍重视阅读教学。在日常教学中,阅读教学的目的主要是激发学生的阅读积极性,加深学生对西方文化的了解,帮助学生积累语言知识,培养学生的阅读技巧,进而提高他们的阅读水平。然而,在应试教育的体制下,当前中学英语阅读教学的效果不容乐观,未能有效提高学生的阅读素养。本研究采用持续默读训练,旨在为中学英语阅读教学提供更好的教学方法,提高学生的英语阅读能力。基于此,本文基于输入假设理论和动机理论,采用个案研究的方法探讨以下两个方面的问题:(1)持续默读对不同层次初中生的英语阅读能力有何影响?(2)持续默读对不同层次初中生的英语阅读情感态度有何影响?本研究以广东省河源市某中学八年级某班的6名学生作为研究对象,开展为期三个月的个案研究。根据6名研究对象的阅读能力分别将其分为高、中、低三个层次(各2名)。作者指导学生自主选择自己感兴趣的并适合自己水平的阅读材料,每天坚持进行15分钟的持续默读,读后填写阅读记录表并进行读后分享。本研究的测量工具是阅读理解测试、情感态度调查...
