基于语料库语境的高中英语词汇教学研究

【摘要】：词汇作为英语教学的一个重要组成部分,怎样对其有效地学习与运用已经引起老师和学生们的广泛关注。随着我国中、高考制度的改革,词汇学习的重要性日益凸显。然而,在当前的词汇教学中仍然存在一些问题,因此英语老师们有必要在英语课堂中尝试新的单词教学方法。本论文旨在研究语预料库语境单词教学法引入到英语课堂中去代替传统的单词教学方法。本论文基于数据驱动理论和发现理论,使学生将学习的重点从词的形式本身转移到语境中运用的方面学习。这种教学方式旨在刺激学生们的学习兴趣,改变他们的学习态度,以及提高学生们的英语语言的输入与输出能力。本研究试图解决以下三个问题:1.语料库语境教授词汇是否可以改变学生学习词汇的态度?2.与传统教学方法相比,基于语料库语境词汇教学方法,是否可以促使学生更好地记忆目标词汇?3.与传统的教学方法相比,基于语料库语境词汇教学方法,是否有利于学生更有效地使用目标词词汇?本论文采用定量和定性研究相结合的方法,以大连48中一年级两个教学班为实验对象,实验研究在一个实验班和一个控制班内进行,实验方法包括问卷调查法与访谈调查法以及对照班前后测验数据分析法,其目的在于检测学生对目标单词的记忆能力和应用能力是否得到提高。实验调查问卷数据表明,实验班在接受语料库语境词汇学习后,对学习词汇的态度有明显的改变,而控制班学习词汇的态度改变不明显。有关态度访谈的补充,进一步说明了通过语料库语境教学法,学生们学习词汇的能力有很大地提高。通过使用SPSS软件,对后测中实验班与控制班目标词的意义的分数与句子的分数进行数据对比,实验者可以清晰地得出结论:在语料库语境中教授词汇,可以促进学生的更好地记忆与使用英语目标词汇。
