通过激发情境兴趣促进初中生英语阅读的行动研究

研究表明阅读动机是影响阅读量以及阅读广度的重要因素。如何激发学生的阅读动机,促进学生的课外阅读受到了国内外研究者的广泛关注。然而,国内英语关于英语阅读动机的研究主要关注不同动机水平的学习者阅读行为的差异和动机构成,关于阅读动机发展变化的研究比较少,而且已有研究的对象大多是高校学习者,因此我们对初中阶段学习者的动机发展情况知之甚少。而在现实教学中,由于当前初中英语阅读教学主要采取精读教学方式,过度强调词汇、语法的学习,而忽略学习者阅读兴趣的培养,以致许多初中生英语阅读动机总体水平较低。这种状况显然不是提倡教会学生终生学习的新课程标准所期许的。为了改善上述状况,本研究尝试本文通过基于情境兴趣激发的英语阅读教学,促进初中学生英语阅读动机水平的提升。具体来说,本研究尝试采用行动研究范式,探讨以下研究问题:1)基于情境兴趣激发的英语阅读教学是否能促进初中生英语阅读动机水平的改善?2)如果能够,那么教学中哪些具体因素产生了作用?教学效果的评估以学生的阅读量和阅读动机构成比例为指标。本研究在以广州市某重点中学初一年级一个自然班之中展开。参与者为该班50位学生,时间跨度为12周的行动研究,数据收集借助...
