基于MediaWiki的知识管理解决方案

【摘要】:当前在大型企业中,尤其是高科技企业,知识管理已经上升到企业战略高度。知识管理主要包括知识的获取,知识的组织,知识的重用等诸多方面。知识的有效管理有助于企业减少重复建设的成本,提高企业内部跨团队协作效率,解决大型企业内部由于组织结构复杂、流程繁复等问题造成的信息孤岛的问题。 本篇论文着重研究了知识管理的基本概念以及知识管理在企业当中应用的重要性等理论,总结出知识生命周期的抽象模型。本文详细分析了作者在惠普企业服务集团内部工作当中遇到的跨团队知识管理协同的问题,因地制宜地设计并实施了基于MediaWiki的知识管理解决方案。本文的主要工作和创新包括以下内容: 针对惠普企业服务集团内部没有针对软件产品及相关使用经验数据库的问题,本文提出了使用惠普内部维基百科HPedia作为知识库,并在其中使用统一模板来建立Product Brief页面来保存产品概要、项目使用经验以及同类型产品对比等众多与软件产品相关信息的方法。通过对现有项目档案知识库(PPR)的链接,将“软件产品”、“使用者及交付的项目”、“战略指导及组织能力”关联到一起,达到通过软件产品找到使用者以及相关项目经验信息以及组织使用该软件的能力的效果。通过实践证明,该方法取得了良好的效果,自部署实施日起,整体Product Brief知识库得到了良好的增长。 HPedia作为MediaWiki的一个部署实例,同样使用特殊的标记语言来编辑页面。针对该标记语言易用性差的问题,基于改善知识贡献者的整体使用体验并充分利用现有资产的思想,本文提出了借助企业内部被广泛部署并使用的SharePoint,将MediaWiki与SharePoint相结合:即SharePoint作为前端知识收集界面,MediaWiki作为最终知识的展示的方法,达到了知识贡献者不需要学习复杂的MediaWiki标记语言同样可以很方便地贡献知识到HPedia。经过实践,该方法取得了良好的效果,使本企业员工对解决方案的整体使用体验更加顺畅。 对于Wiki页面结构简单且不具备跨页面横向比对页面内容的问题,基于扩展Product Brief知识的横向联系并提高知识的利用率的思想,本文提出了开发MediaWiki扩展Data Aggregator,使其能获取并汇总使用同一模板的Product Brief页面内指定内容,最终绘制出同类产品功能性比较矩(Feature Comparison Matrix)的方法。使用该方法不仅仅扩展了现有MediaWiki功能上的缺失,而且达到了知识贡献者只需专注于某一软件产品的经验贡献,而最终的同类型产品能自动汇总成功能性比较矩阵则能并比对,真正实现了知识协作的效果。该方法为企业内系统架构师、技术顾问等相关人员在IT系统架构设计中软件产品选型,企业服务售前技术咨询等领域提供了非常必要的支持和帮助。
[Abstract]:At present, in large enterprises, especially high-tech enterprises, knowledge management has risen to the strategic level of enterprises. Knowledge management mainly includes the acquisition of knowledge and the organization of knowledge. Knowledge reuse and other aspects. The effective management of knowledge can help enterprises reduce the cost of repeated construction, improve the efficiency of cross-team cooperation within enterprises, and solve the complex organizational structure within large enterprises. This paper focuses on the basic concepts of knowledge management and the importance of the application of knowledge management in enterprises. The abstract model of knowledge life cycle is summarized. This paper analyzes in detail the problems of cross-team knowledge management collaboration encountered by the author in the internal work of HP Enterprise Service Group. A knowledge management solution based on MediaWiki is designed and implemented according to local conditions. The main work and innovations of this paper include the following: In view of the problem that HP Enterprise Services Group does not have a database for software products and related use experience, this paper proposes to use HP's internal Wikipedia HPedia as a knowledge base. And use a uniform template to create a Product Brief page to hold the product profile. Project use experience and the same type of product comparison of numerous software product-related information methods. Through the existing project file knowledge base / PPRs link, will "software products". "users and delivered projects", "Strategic guidance and organizational capabilities" are linked. Through the software product to find users and related project experience information and the ability of the organization to use the software. Through practice, the method has achieved good results, since the deployment date of implementation. The overall Product Brief knowledge base has grown well. HPedia, as a deployment instance of MediaWiki, also uses a special markup language to edit pages. Based on the idea of improving the overall experience of knowledge contributors and making full use of existing assets, this paper proposes a SharePoint that is widely deployed and used within the enterprise. Combine MediaWiki with SharePoint: the method of SharePoint as the front end knowledge collection interface and MediaWiki as the ultimate knowledge presentation. The knowledge contributors do not need to learn complex MediaWiki markup language can also easily contribute knowledge to HPedia.After practice, this method has achieved good results. Make the whole experience of using the solution more smooth for our employees. For the problem of simple structure of Wiki pages and no cross-page horizontal comparison of page content, the idea of extending the horizontal connection of Product Brief knowledge and improving the utilization rate of knowledge is based on the idea of extending the horizontal connection of Product Brief knowledge. This article proposes the development of a MediaWiki extension Data aggregator that can retrieve and aggregate the specified content within a Product Brief page that uses the same template. Finally, the feature Comparison Matrix of the same product is drawn. Using this method not only extends the absence of existing MediaWiki functionality. Moreover, the knowledge contributors only need to focus on the empirical contribution of a software product, while the final equivalent product can be automatically aggregated into a functional comparison matrix, which can be compared and compared. This method is used to select the software products in the IT system architecture design for the system architect, technical consultant and other related personnel in the enterprise.
