批判性思维指导下的中学英语写作研究

【摘要】:全日制普通高中英语课程标准(2013)解读指出,根据高中学生的需求和认知发展水平,高中英语教学应该着重培养学生用英语分析问题和解决问题的能力以及批判性思维能力。在高中英语教学中写作教学作为重要环节,它不仅训练学生的写作技能,对学生思维品质和独立思考能力的培养也起着重要作用,即写作教学不单单培养学生掌握运用修辞和语法的能力,更重要的是培养学生预测、阐释、分析、质疑、推理、评价、校正等批判性思维技能及独立思考的能力。另外写作教学能够引导学生关注写作者观点及写作意图,把握语法修辞、分析文章脉络、层次内涵,深刻全面的理解所分析的文章段落、进而鉴赏语言文化,最终使得学生的批判性思维能力及写作都得到提升。因此,作者认为写作过程可以很好的与批判性思维过程结合在一起。本研究就是在这一领域的探索和尝试。本文的评估模型即写作评估量表,是在融入了雅思考试评估模型及批判性思维考量标准的基础上制成的。这个量表有两个层面,即语言和语篇层面,共包含十个标准。这些标准用来测量实验班和对照班实验前后的变化。根据实验结果得出以下结论:(1)实验班学生运用批判性思维技能指导其写作的能力有了明显的提高,批判性思维意识也有了较大的提升。(2)实验班的学生写作学习策略有了明显改变。(3)批判性思维指导下的英语写作教学不仅有利于促进英语写作整体水平的提高,也提高了学生的语言和语篇综合能力。本研究针对批判性思维指导下的中学英语写作教学进行实证研究,探索其实施步骤:(1)在课文教学中输入批判性思维技能。(2)进行批判性思维指导下的写作训练。(3)待学生收集完写作材料后,教师组织进行互动教学。(4)小组讨论结束后进行限时写作。(5)分析和评价批判性思维技能指导下学生的写作情况。最终验证其教学效果,为中学英语教学推广和普及批判性写作教学提供了借鉴,为教师改变传统教学理念提供了思路和做法。本研究对提升学生的批判性思维、掌握写作技能和方法也有一定的促进作用。
[Abstract]:The English Curriculum Standard for Full-time General Senior High School (2011) points out that according to the needs and cognitive development level of senior high school students, High school English teaching should focus on cultivating students' ability to analyze and solve problems in English and to think critically. Writing teaching is an important link in senior English teaching, which not only trains students' writing skills. It also plays an important role in the cultivation of students' thinking quality and independent thinking ability, that is, writing teaching not only trains students' ability to use rhetoric and grammar, but also fosters students' prediction, interpretation, analysis, query, reasoning and evaluation. In addition, the teaching of writing can lead students to pay attention to the writer's point of view and writing intention, grasp the grammatical rhetoric, analyze the context of the article, and analyze the connotation of the hierarchy. A profound and comprehensive understanding of the passage analysed, and then appreciation of language and culture, will ultimately enhance students' critical thinking and writing skills. The author thinks that the writing process can be well combined with the critical thinking process. This study is an exploration and attempt in this field. The scale is based on the IELTS assessment model and critical thinking criteria. The scale has two levels: language and discourse. These standards are used to measure the changes before and after the experiment in the experimental class and the control class. Based on the results of the experiment, the following conclusions are drawn: 1) the students in the experimental class have improved their ability to use critical thinking skills to guide their writing. The students' writing learning strategies in the experimental class have changed obviously. 3) the teaching of English writing under the guidance of critical thinking is not only conducive to the improvement of the overall level of English writing. It also improves the students' comprehensive ability of language and discourse. This study focuses on the teaching of English writing in middle schools under the guidance of critical thinking. Explore its implementation steps: 1) input critical thinking skills in text teaching, and carry out writing training under the guidance of critical thinking. (3) after the students have collected the writing materials, Teachers organize interactive teaching. 4) at the end of group discussion, time limited writing. 5) analyze and evaluate the students' writing situation under the guidance of critical thinking skills. Finally, verify the teaching effect. It provides a reference for promoting and popularizing the teaching of critical writing in English teaching in middle schools, and provides ideas and practices for teachers to change their traditional teaching ideas. Mastering writing skills and methods is also helpful.
