图示理论在农村高中英语阅读教学中的应用研究

【摘要】：著名语言学家卡罗(1983)指出:“对多数学生来说阅读是英语作为第二语言教学四种技能中最重要的。”英语是高考三大主科之一,而阅读占整张试卷最大的一部分。怎样提高高中生英语阅读成绩和能力显得越来越受关注。尤其对于农村学校来说,学习环境基础相对较差,怎样在有限条件下提高他们的阅读成绩成为当今学者们关心的问题。著名语言学者威廉姆斯曾根据图示理论,提出一种将脑海中建立的图示与英语阅读教学连结的教授阅读方法,即三步英语教学法。近年来一些学者致力于研究这种教学方法在环境相对较差的农村高中学生英语阅读教学中的应用。本文以选取了鸡西市梁家高中高一两个班68名学生为研究对象。时间从2014年9月到12月,一个班34人作为实验班,另一个班34人作为控制班。实验前两个班进行测验,成绩相当。而后对于实验班进行近四个月的三步教学法教授英语阅读课,控制班仍然采用传统的教学方法。研究结果发现,试验结束后实验班在阅读成绩方面比控制班有更大提高。并且从阅读的信心,积极性,态度,策略掌握方面,实验班都比控制班有更大提高。说明图示理论指导下的三步教学法可以应用到农村高中的阅读课堂教学并且能提高农村高中生阅读成绩和提高阅读能力。
[Abstract]:"for most students, reading is the most important of the four skills of English as a second language teaching," noted Karolan 1983, a famous linguist.English is one of the three major subjects in the college entrance examination, and reading accounts for the largest part of the whole paper.How to improve high school students' English reading achievement and ability has attracted more and more attention.Especially for rural schools, the learning environment is relatively poor, how to improve their reading performance under limited conditions has become an issue of concern to scholars.Williams Williams, a famous linguist, has put forward a teaching method of teaching English reading, that is, three-step English teaching method.In recent years, some scholars have devoted themselves to studying the application of this teaching method in the English reading teaching of rural senior high school students with relatively poor environment.In this paper, 68 students in two classes of Liangjia Senior High School in Jixi City were selected as the research object.From September to December 2014, 34 students in one class as experimental class and 34 in another class as control class.The two classes tested before the experiment and got equal marks.Then the three-step teaching method is used to teach English reading in the experimental class for nearly four months. The control class still adopts the traditional teaching method.The results showed that the reading scores of the experimental class were much higher than that of the control class.And from the reading confidence, enthusiasm, attitude, strategy mastery, the experimental class than the control class has a greater improvement.It is shown that the three-step teaching method under the guidance of graphic theory can be applied to the reading classroom teaching in rural senior high schools and can improve the reading performance and reading ability of rural high school students.
