中学生艺术特长培训的参与机制研究

【摘要】:在学业竞争激烈的中学阶段,为何仍有为数不少的家长及其子女热衷于参加艺术特长培训?家庭的行为在多大程度上与其所处的阶层地位及既有的文化资本相关?本研究使用中国教育跟踪调查(CEPS)2013年基线调查数据,对上述问题进行了研究。研究发现,艺术特长班的参与中存在两种机制:一种为文化再生产,即文化资本拥有越多的家庭,越有可能通过其子女参加艺术特长培训来实现一种阶层品味和生活方式的培养:另一种为流动机制,即家庭希望子女通过艺术特长培训将来获得相关职业,进而实现社会流动。社会流动意义上的艺术特长培训参与行为更多地具有人力资本的特征,即将艺术特长作为一种专用性技能。
[Abstract]:Why are there still a large number of parents and their children who are keen to take part in arts training in the competitive secondary schools? To what extent does the family's behaviour relate to its class status and established cultural capital? In this study, the Chinese Education tracking Survey (CEPS) 2013 baseline survey data were used to study the above questions. The study found that there are two mechanisms for the participation of art classes: one is cultural reproduction, that is, the more families the cultural capital has, The more likely it is that their children will take part in art training to achieve the cultivation of a class taste and lifestyle; the other is a mobility mechanism, that is, families want their children to obtain relevant occupations through art training, and then to realize social mobility. In the sense of social mobility, the participation behavior of art specialty training is more characteristic of human capital, that is to say, art specialty is regarded as a special skill.
