利用美国当代英语语料库提升初中生英语写作词汇能力的实证研究

前人研究成果表明,外语写作能力与词汇能力密切相关,词汇运用能力是影响学生写作的重要因素之一,而产出性词汇则是写作能力的最好体现。但传统的初中英语写作教学无法提供大量的语言输入,导致学生的作文缺少自然、新颖的语言,无法产出高级词汇,因此,近年来,越来越多的教学研究者关注将计算机语料库技术应用于英语写作教学,以求让学生在真实的语言环境里获得更多语言输入。从前期文献整理的结果来看,目前将写作教学和数据驱动学习结合的实验研究较少,关注初中生词汇运用能力的研究也不多见。在这一背景下,笔者利用实习机会开展了实验研究:以美国当代英语语料库（以下简称COCA）为数据驱动学习的载体,选取江苏省南通市某初三年级两个平行班各35人为对象,进行对照实验;实验组经历了语料难度测试、课堂训练使用COCA、先导试验和正式实验四个阶段,实验周期为一个学期,通过实验组和对照组的对比以及对实验班的问卷调查和访谈来探究使用美国当代英语语料库对提高学生作文的词汇运用能力是否有帮助,主要研究问题有:（1）在使用COCA辅助写作的模式下,实验组学生的作文成绩和对照组学生的作文成绩相比是否有提高?如果有,提高了多少程度?（2）在使...
