初中英语学习者英语语素意识对阅读理解能力的直接与间接效应

在英语中,语素意识被定义为有意识地考虑和操纵最小意义语言单位的能力,其中也包括基本词汇和词缀。它深刻地影响着第二语言学习的各个方面,特别是词汇学习和阅读理解。因此,词汇在语素意识和阅读理解之间起着中介作用。众多研究已经证实语素意识对阅读能力发挥着积极的作用,在词汇量的增长中占据举足轻重的地位。但相关研究少有涉及词汇学习和词汇推断能力在语素意识和阅读理解二者关系中产生的影响,特别针对母语为非拼音文字的中国英语语言学习环境的研究较少。基于这一背景,在该领域投入更多研究,担当更多责任,争取更多丰硕研究成果是十分必要的。本研究调查了中国一所普通中学初三学生的英语语素意识对阅读理解的直接和间接效应。具体而言,本研究试图回答以下三个问题:(1)初中学生英语语素意识与词汇知识、词汇推断、阅读理解的显著关系程度如何?(2)在控制英语词汇知识和词汇推断能力后,英语语素意识对阅读理解贡献的直接效应程度如何?(3)英语语素意识通过词汇知识和词汇推断对阅读理解贡献的间接效应程度如何?本研究的被试来自某中学初三年级三个自然班的152名学生,所有被试都是义务教育阶段期间规范的学习对象。研究采用的测试均评估英语学习...
