基于经典阅读的通识教育——以东西方两所推行核心文本课程的高校为例

【摘要】：核心文本课程作为通识教育核心课程模式的构成主体,是一种以经典阅读为媒介,以主动、反思与合作学习为特征的教学形式,有助于实现通识理念从重知识到重能力、再到核心价值观的转变。本文以哥伦比亚大学和香港中文大学为例介绍了核心文本课程在两校的发展历程,探讨经典阅读对大学生价值观形成的意义,分析核心文本的理论基础、选择标准以及课程实施中的困难与应对策略,为我国高校的通识教育改革提供思路和借鉴。
[Abstract]:As the main body of the core curriculum model of general education, the core text curriculum is a kind of teaching form characterized by classic reading, initiative, reflection and cooperative learning, which is helpful to realize the concept of general knowledge from knowledge to ability. Then to the transformation of core values. Taking Columbia University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong as examples, this paper introduces the development of the core text course in the two universities, probes into the significance of classical reading to the formation of college students' values, and analyzes the theoretical basis of the core text. The selection criteria, the difficulties in the course implementation and the corresponding strategies provide ideas and lessons for the reform of general education in colleges and universities in China.
